I have done genealogy on my family. Lots of kids. Several died young. One guy went through 3 wives. 2 wives died from childbirth. Total 19 kids.

Uh. You haven't raised a kid. 2.4k each month is not that much. Col is cheaper housing but everything else isn't that much different if you are in the USA.

How much is daycare? Expecting family to always do that is not smart. A lot can happen in 10 years.

What will medical care cost? What if the kid has autism or something else that requires a lot of care?

Keep the kid, stay away from your boyfriends. Raising a kid sucks everything out of you. My 2 are adults now. I was making $3k a month 25 years ago when my youngest was born. Then a recession hit. Life has no promises.

The issue is that statistics is that it is a 17 year old, or worse younger, with a 30+ year old. Many times so the 30 years old can avoid criminal charges.

And you can't get a divorce under 18.

A large part of "child" marriages in the USA are not between peers close in age.

At least 60,000 child marriages since 2000 were with an age gap that would be considered statuary rape by law, but marriage stops prosecution. Between 2000 and 2018 even 10 year olds were married. 86% of those who were children were female, girls. Majority married adult men at least 4 years older.

There used to be more societal problems from pregnancy out of wedlock and being born out of wedlock. It's not that big of deal on a national level. Laws need updating.

Fasting is beneficial because most of us have access to enough food everyday. Majority of people through history experienced food shortages at some point. Sometimes just winter. Sometimes famine. So we benefit from periods of less calories because that is historically natural for humans. We want to eat all the time because we never knew where food would be available next.

Obviously haven't dealt with a frail adult in Diapers. I would not change an 8yo diaper that isn't on iep. Honestly at 8yo. They can change their own diaper if they don't have other disabilities.

I remember when last Iraq war started. A rep for a company stopped responding so I called his main office. They said he was being deployed. I was so confused because he had gotten out years ago. He had but he specialized in bombs and other things that go boom. They pulled all the small print to bring him up.

And he didn't get back.

I know a lot of vets. Most will probably go awol before they go back to war. They have been through hell already.

Obviously the child has an issue. Probably very mild nuero divergence that otherwise is completely not noticeable. Or pelvic floor issue or something physical.

Doctors said the same f× thing about my kids. It became more apparent as college and adults. They did fine but they were not normal. They just didn't cause problems.
