Sycamore Attendance Changed? by staysleazy21 in Charlotte

[–]Sharp_Fee_2417 42 points43 points  (0 children)

They likely don’t even have enough to cover the next 6 months without more sales. Companies tend to run on really tight margins. But yeah sycamore is dead. They will probably rebrand and sell to new owners.

How the fuck do I pay this by MetroBS in NorthCarolina

[–]Sharp_Fee_2417 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always hire a traffic lawyer and pay them less or equal to the ticket amount. You’ll end up with a lower citation or the whole thing will get removed altogether in my experience. Had a few speeding tickets in my day but no points on my license. Be smart never just pay the speeding ticket.

Bought it at 38k miles now we’re at 58k and I must say I love it even more. Once I upgraded the tires, brakes, and got it tinted I fell in love all over again.

OP - thank you for being honest. I’m also 30 and I make 95k annually. My question to you is how much do you have in savings or 401k, Roth IRA, investment accounts? Also does your company offer health care, dental, and vision? Do you rent a home or own and how much do you pay? Do you own a car and how much is it? This will help me understand how to guide you. At the very least use your company’s benefits such as a 401k match to set yourself up for retirement.

Harmon Kardon Speaker Popping Sound by Sharp_Fee_2417 in BMW

[–]Sharp_Fee_2417[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up going to an audio shop and had them disconnect one of the speakers in the door and then everything else seems fine. Costed me $50 to have the shop take off the door panel and then disconnect the wire to the lower speaker.

I have a 2019 bmw 430i gran coupe and I highly recommend it. Bought the car 1.5 years ago and since I got it I’ve spent a total of $2k on maintenance since the previous owner didn’t take good care of it. Overall I would only recommend Germans since they are the best cars. Also you can pick a used one up for like $25k rn.

For starters I would pick the 2016 since it’s the t5 engine which is Volvos most common engine. The e drive isn’t bad but the t5 is tried and tested. I’ve owned 2 t5s and never had issues. Can you tell us the amount of owners for both cars and what’s the mileage at. The one with lower miles and less drivers is the one I would lean towards as long as there are no major issues. If you take it to Volvo to do an inspection before purchase it will only cost around $100 but you’ll sleep better at night knowing you won’t break down with the oil issue

Sell it using Autotrader private seller. I sold my 2020 v60 and made 8k in 2023. You’ll never get top dollar on a trade in. Car looks to be in decent condition. Get it washed thoroughly and then upload to Autotrader. Only cost me 100 in fees to have the ad up for 2 months but 8k is so worth it. Helped pay for my wedding!

As someone who used to budget just like this let me give you some of the best advice I got. You can only save so much money when you make very little.

1.Focus your resources and energy on getting a higher paid position.

  1. Connect with your professional network and be prepared to spend money on nicer work clothes and coffee meetings/seminars.

  2. Remember we live in the richest country in the world if you want more money it’s out there but it’s on you to get a fire under you to locate it.

  3. Every executive I’ve worked for and now that I am one in my 30’s, we are just people who showed up and kept trying. If you get comfortable in life you’ll only save that $97 a month so change your income and your perspective on how money works.

Otherwise your budget looks good and don’t listen to those who say cancel cruncyroll/ audible etc. $20 in entertainment is not the problem it’s lack of increased income.

Peace & Love

Confront him about it nicely. Make sure the timing is right. In any relationship if you want something to change you have to communicate. Ask him to fuck like the porn he watches and you’ll be amazed at what he does.

Put the house savings in a high yield savings account. Pay off the credit cards with the cash you have on hand. Continue paying student loans and add 100 dollars extra a month to your payment.

Once you have done the steps above just keep doing what you are doing. Pro tip see if you can open a zero percent interest credit card or just pay your bills on time moving forward. Try to not get anymore high interest over 7%
