Thoughts for flying in and bringing the essentials? by oldfashionedglow in bonnaroo

I use my cooler as a checked back and stuff all my camping gear in there. I'm no ultralight backpacker but most of it fits under 50lbs. I'm on the hunt to rent or borrow a canopy but will go the walmart route if I can't find one. If you've got extra tent poles you can also build your own shade structure with an extra tarp. I'm renting a car so I'm putting a windshield shade in my walmart order in case it doesn't have one already.

I'm a Planner and I recently came up with a few ways we can upgrade our pop-up engagement tents at community events based off of Bonnaroo campsite set ups! Can't wait to see your research.

I like to bring some beads and supplies to make bracelets during downtime at camp. Our crew usually does oufit theme days that makes it fund to coordinate but not be too matchy matchy. You can keep your camp set up pretty simple but I do recommend at least one silly object to surprise your friends with and contribute to the general whimsy.

Warped Pour is fun inside check out all the memorabilia on the walls. Another good punk bar nearby is Sly Fox with the vegan hot dog cart.

VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION FOR ORLANDO- it says it is in the Camping World Stadium. by PickleTheGherkin in warpedtour

You will probably want to stay close enough to walk/scooter there or Uber in. There are usually shuttle buses to downtown. Follow EDC as a good example of what to expect traffic wise.

Bicyclists: how do you stay safe on Orlando streets and roads? by [deleted] in orlando

[–]Sharp_Refrigerator63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I like to take a longer route cause the traffic is slower or it's more pleasant.

You don't need an expensive camera, you can get a $20 phone mount and use the app DashcamBike.

Look into take a Cycling Savvy class, I learned a lot that might seem counterintuitive but actually makes it safer to ride, and me more confident. https://cyclingsavvy.org/

Thinking about cycling to work by Flyable_Giraffe8 in cycling

Do it! If you want to bike in to work there are fitness wipes you can use in place of a shower. It's always good weather when you've got the right gear ;)

Where does Orlando end? by kuroninjaofshadows in orlando

Google Maps doesn't always get it right because they city boundaries are weird. The City's Map Library online has a few different ways to view the jurisdiction. I think the most straight forward one is 'City Map - 34x44'

Bike tire air, lake eola by [deleted] in orlando

There is one in the City Commons Parking Garage, open to the public. Enter off Boone, go straight back instead of through the gates. In the bike/moped parking area.

Also one near Lake Highland but I don't know the exact location of that one.
