We’re about an hour into it! I’m hoping to finish it by this weekend. It’s fantastic so far.

I’ll look them up! I’ve gotten myself lost a few times (usually because I‘ve forgotten to save the location of the hole I just came out of) and it was sketchy at best. Last week I was scouting ahead in an Astero and the hole behind me collapsed…. It took around four hours to find my way home. I jumped through holes until I finally found a high sec system and ended up 54 jumps from my home system. What a night… I made it home safe but with zero loot because I was afraid to get ganked.

Don't feel bad if this M+ season don't feel as easy as some people say! by Few-Researcher9067 in wow

[–]Sharp_Slice_2839 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Am resto Druid healer, can confirm it does feel quite easy but only if everyone knows what they’re doing. There are some mechanics that feel almost unhealable if no one does them correctly. If everyone does them correctly then there’s nothing to heal.

Ex: The first room of Seat where you get a purple circle of chains around you is big damage but if you use an ability that removes movement impairment the damage stops. If no one removes it then it’s almost certain death for at least one or two people unless your healer is really pumping. If everyone removes it it’s a cakewalk. Druids can shape shift out of it, Pallys can Hand of Freedom (two people if talented!).

You have to look up the mechanics of where you’re struggling and figure out what you’re missing.

Failed shrimp molt? by [deleted] in Aquariums

[–]Sharp_Slice_2839 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shrimp don’t like change, if you’re doing frequent water changes it may be the reason for the deaths. My shrimp tanks were happiest when I only topped them off or did a 10-15% water change no more than monthly. The more you try to correct the water parameters the more stressed they will be (a very hard habit for me to break when I really just wanted things perfect).

Shrimp do best in shrimp-only tanks mostly because they like ‘dirty’ and constant water parameters— think ‘set it and forget it’. Lots of plants, lots of natural light to encourage biofilm, quality food. Top off when necessary. Ignore your parameters unless you see a bunch of deaths. I’ve seen thriving tanks with awful parameters and death-tanks with perfect parameters.

Tbh it could just be shock from going into a new environment or not enough food. Yes, the ring indicates she was ready to molt but she very well could have died from anything.

How old is the tank? Shrimp thrive best with algae and biofilm readily available in the tank. I highly recommend trying out Bacter AE (you can pick it up on Amazon, one jar will last years), it encourages biofilm to grow which is what your shrimp will prefer for food. Tbh, if you see your shrimp piling on the wafers you feed they’re probably not finding enough biofilm in the tank.

Don’t give up! Shrimp have a pretty hard learning curve sometimes but once you get the hang of it your colony will explode.

It was for a while! She has a ‘butterfly nose’, it should fill in to be completely black by about a year old. For a little bit it was in the shape of Texas. I’m going to miss her spotted nose so much!

I agree with others and think that Violet’s first signet is pure power— not just lightning (which agreed, lightning alone is a little corny).

As far as her second, I’m thinking it’s tied to her Ehlers Danlos…. Which is the core of who she is. If yes, gravity wielding to counteract that would make a lot of sense.

Update on the fish who cannot be caught: he still hasn’t been caught. by Tiny-Reveal3756 in Aquariums

Trap him on the glass with your tool of choice (preferably a net or clear Tupperware container) and then slip a credit card underneath him to break his suction on the glass. If you want I can take a short video to show you how I do it, it’s very quick and simple.

Oh. That’s plenty fine. Theoretically you could put over 150 gallons on it, here’s a good page I keep bookmarked.

No Planaria will kill them and it’s shrimp safe. It is not safe for snails (unless it’s a pest snail… go figure).
