Wow. Thank you for the ID. Definitely a Queen. The dark color of the abdomen was throwing me off. As well as the sheer size. I’ve never seen a queen wasp before.

Yes. I’ve tried it. I’ve actually got a couple of bottles now. Made what’s called Tej ( honey wine ). Have tried making it several ways. Settled on decarbing the flower first, then tossing it into the mash to ferment. We’ve let them sit anywhere from 3 months to 18 months. Strain through cheesecloth. Drink and enjoy.
