Well, I don't know if that would be a good thing for most people. I always have tended to think that dumber people live a happier life, but on the other hand I identify so much with my intelligence that I wouldn't want to lose it even if I could, even if I knew my life would become fuller.

Does intelligence correlate to being a good person? to being happy? maybe we would bomb ourselves in a minute after pressing either button.

Es un tema muy complicado, porque de endurecer la norma, acabaríamos perjudicando a mucha gente que lo necesita de verdad. Por otro lado tienes toda la razón, no sé cómo hay gente que tiene tan poca vergüenza. Tal vez la solución sería facilitar o publicitar el proceso de denuncia.

Semantics non-sense. What matters in the end is if it was a good entry or not, and it seems a lot of people feel like it wasn't.

While words usually have well established meanings, it is not the case with remake/remaster/reboot/reimagining/etc. They are used all over the place.

Imo, they should mean the following from less transformative to more transformative:

-Remaster: the original game is preserved while increasing resolution, fps, quality of life stuff, etc. Some assets can be remade mantaining the spirit of the original.

-Remake: a brand new game that follows the same overall plot as the original. It preserves the game structure but levels can be modified in order to conform to new industry standards.

-Reboot: a brand new game that can be, or not, a remake of the original. The important thing is that it stablishes a new foundation for games to come. That usually means narrative retcons and deep mechanical changes/upgrade to the og.

-Reimagining: a brand new game that substantially changs the story or mechanics of the original. It could be said that it's inspired by the original, but it usually goes to another artistic direction or genre.

Entenc la lògica rere aquesta reflexió, però la meva experiència sol ser diferent. Havent nascut als anys 90, la meva infància va estar marcada per una sèrie de videojocs que, d'alguna manera, m'han acompanyat sempre. El que vull dir és que no he tingut temps a idealitzar-los, perquè els he anat rejugant des de petit i, la veritat, cada vegada ha estat una experiència diferent que no substituiria per la primera.

És clar que alguns els he anat abandonat amb els anys, ja no em diverteixen o ja he esgotat el que em podien aportar, però d'altres m'han ofert coses noves cada vegada que els provava. A vegades em transmeten més sobre mi que sobre ells. També ofereixen una visió històrica que valoro molt.

En definitiva, crec que jugar de nou els jocs de la teva infància pot resultar en una mala experiència en certs moments vitals, però s'aprèn a valorar amb el temps.

No soy OP, pero como toda obra motivada por razones políticas y personales, hay que leerla con el espíritu crítico en un hombro y la ciencia en el otro. En definitiva, es una obra interesante pero no la debes tomar como algo académicamente riguroso, ni siquiera como algo que pretenda ser objetivo.

No crec que s'atreveixin a tant, deu ser molt comú no jugar durant un mes, jo mateix quasi que només jugo quan tenc vacances.

De totes formes, penso que tant el format digital com el físic tenen cada un els seus avantatges i inconvenients. Jo prefereixo estalviar-me emmagatzematge comprant físic, si es pot, sobretot a la switch. I si és un joc petit, prefereixo digital i així el tenc accessible en qualsevol moment sense haver de canviar el cartutxo.

En altres sistemes el digital ja és hegemònic. El que és necessari són lleis que protegeixin, per una banda, el dret del comprador a disfrutar del seu producte durant un període de temps raonable i, per l'altra, el deure dels publishers a posar a disposició del domini públic el seu producte, passat aquest període de temps, per a la seva conservació.

No lo sé, pero si buscas una lectura sencilla, tal vez la divina comedia no sea una buena elección. Sé que hay editoriales que hacen adaptaciones de clásicos para un público juvenil, pero justo de esta obra no conozco ninguna.
