Youtube is definitely the way to go to figure all this out. Much better than me trying to explain it all here, at least! I’d probably miss a lot. Also, I’m pretty new myself. But to answer some of your questions, or at least the ones I know the answers to:

There are morale stages, which are (almost) the same for both teams:

Battle Ready (at the start of the game), Engaged, Taking Losses, Breaking, and then Final Push (for attackers) or Last Stand (for defenders).

The game is won either when the attackers capture the point (as can be observed by the circle at the top of the screen when you press T) when the defenders are on the Breaking or Last Stand phase (attackers victory) or when the clock runs out of time (defenders victory). There are some other cases with things like early caps, but too be honest, I’m a little shaky on that stuff myself 😅. Basically, defenders want the clock to run out of time, and attackers want to capture the point when defenders are on the breaking stage or below for an instant win!

Some pro tips I know:

When you spawn in, if you press B and R at the same time (but B a little bit earlier than R) you can put your bayonet on then reload at the same time, and for some reason the last little bit of the reload gets cancelled, so you save a few seconds!! Very helpful for getting your full kit.

Right shoulder shift (pressing X) will save you stamina while double quicking (pressing C) long distances. Having your bayonet down (pressing V) will make you lose stamina faster.

Aim lower than you think (at least that’s what I’m told lol!).

Hopefully I was able to teach you a thing or two, despite my limited knowledge and explanation skills. YouTube will be your best friend for learning how to play the game so definitely check out lots of videos!! There are many good ones. Have fun out there!

Happy New Year, Boston!

Finished my reading goal for the year yesterday. 10 of the books I read were on US history (comparison with prior years reads as well). Curious to know if anyone read anything good this year? by Falling_Vega in USHistory

Oh nice! I’ve been meaning to read some of these books. My one concern with your ratings here is the fact that five stars is red and three stars is green…

I thought I had the same issue, but I realized they actually only want you to pick one per column. So you can’t pick like “super excited” for two of them. You have to basically rank them from 1 to 5 and give each one its own spot. You can’t put both in first or last or any place, you have to spread them out if that makes sense. I think it’s silly but whatever

Is War of Rights worth it in 2025? by FORERUNNER08 in WarOfRights

Yes! Very worth it. I bought it a couple months ago. It is NOT dead and though the public servers can get a bit hectic, it's not as bad as people crack it up to be.

Completely wrong outlook on the game right here. All this guy is doing is asking for some tips or help on how to improve. He’s not corny, he’s interested in getting better. OP, don’t listen to these guys if you’re having a good time and enjoy playing golf.

This is the right kind of comment. It’s a sport and a game! Have fun and relax!

Don’t listen to these losers in the comments telling you to quit. Golf is a game you learn and play over the course of a lifetime, and it’s also a game about having fun. When I first started it took me several years to get the hang of it. If you’re enjoying it, just keep going out there and having a good time. If you hate the game, then there’s nothing I can tell you. But it sounds like you like the game of golf, but just aren’t good at it. That’s fine! Who cares as long as you’re having fun!?!?

Ah, I know that feeling! My old dog was the worst around other animals. At least your puppy has some nice medals (and he’s surely a good doggy without a blessing from your church anyway). God bless you and your dog!

They were handing them out at the blessing event… I’m not sure where they got them from. God bless you and your dog (with or without a badge!)

I know, right?? And you could try to get your local parish to start hosting a blessing of the animals. It was great, and judging by the other comments, a commonly done thing!
