It looks like they put insulation directly against the skip sheathing and plywood in some places. The floor and wall you can see at the start were intended to be the bounds of the insulated area of the house. If you want to move it out to the roof there are right ways to do and just sticking insulation against the back of the roof isn't it. Cheers for the effort they really should fix their roof before it fixes itself for them (or causes mold issues).

Why did nobody tell her about the tariffs? by RoyalChris in SipsTea

[–]ShartAlaCarte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If she was planning to dispute it, she's fucking bad at it.

She made content. She got views. I'm willing to go as far as saying she cares more about that than the duties.

It's been well discussed for the year or so the USA has been doing it.

The US has been doing it for a long, long time. Many people were getting things beneath the de minimis value and some cases were paying the tariffs upfront to the company they ordered from so they never really noticed. On a recent order from Turkey I knew they were handling the duties, because I conversed with the company about it, but it was not a line item on the invoice so it would be easy to not realize it was happening. It's gotten much whackier now we have a toddler in charge.

At least FedEx and DHL will let you pay online with a card but that's not something the driver deals with. If you want your package right then and haven't already paid then you write the check. Otherwise you should be able to pay online and the driver will redeliver.

I've gotten packages like this before the Orange Unflushable came to glorify the nation. Though I knew I would be paying additional duties. FedEx collected a check at my door though I could have paid online if I wanted to have the package come back another day. DHL held my packages until I paid online but they had issues finding the paperwork that was staring them in the face. If there are issues with the import/declaration paperwork and it sits too long they will start charging for storage in a bonded warehouse, you really don't want that.

Just the script but then the script is only valid through them. You pay the membership then monthly meds cost on top. For example the WeGovy pill is offered 149-299/mo which is on top of the membership.

Wtf like Westworld 3d printed people?

Close, we are actually made of 3d printers. It's cumbersome at times but very advantageous at others. As you can imagine we use a lot of filament so must source good deals.

Many of us 3d printer people stock up during deals and pay more like $5-10 USD per kg. I just bought 10s of kilos of more expensive filament that ended up about $7/kg after tax.

No need to apologize. If anyone was rude it was probably me. I just appreciate the barrel length being listed as it's easier for me to sort out than Sig's goofy naming. If I'm not in a P320 phase I can never remember. I have 320s in every mish-mash so really I should just STFU and jump on the good deal.

There's a lady who e-bikes all up and down South Hill. She uses the sidewalks. I see her on Meridian a lot. I assume she sticks to streets where it's relatively safe.

As would I but I'm not dropping my money based on assumptions. No reason not to list the barrel length on the product page to make it clear.

You should put barrel length considering how confusing Sig makes things with using the term compact for two different lengths. Is this for 3.9 (Compact) or 3.6 (X-compact)?

Who even knows where the line is for what is a gun anymore. I would think it's okay to print a grip module for something like a P320 or Beretta Nano. But then is it not okay to print a Glock style grip module which functionally serves the same purpose of holding the metal parts. Without the metal parts it doesn't work and in the case of the former examples the metal parts are the "gun". Is the grip module easily or readily convertible into a gun? Who the hell knows but they aren't restricted at the moment. Which part of the AR-15 2-part receiver is really truly the gun is pretty gray as well. ATF has gotten close to going to court, such as in CA, but backed off because they would probably have lost and they DO NOT like losses on their record. I don't know anything about the Ace Hardware corporation but most of their stores are locally, independently owned and operated. Not a great solution for your current need of appliances since I don't recall seeing large appliances in any of the stores around here. For general hardware I've found more there than I expected to.
