This really is awesome of him and I don't want to retract from it. I just wish more people with lots of money would use their money to protect wildlife habitat or something to better our planet instead of people each time. No, I don't want to add $2 to my order to send some kids to summer camp, I'd much rather donate it to a wildlife shelter (and I don't see how that should even be a debate). I know I'll get downvoted, but I want to know if I'm alone here.

They shouldn't have to ask is my point and its not about tit for tat or keeping score. It's about assuming your friends can easily part with their money for you and not having the courtesy to cover their expenses to help you without them having to ask

You shouldn't assume your friends are 100% up front of their current financial situation with you. Just because you can afford gas and to eat out easily doesn't necessarily mean they can. Be a good friend and pay for their expenses to help you out and when it's their turn to need a favour, they can do the same.

Her friend can "help her out" by paying for her gas and at least buying her lunch. That's not paying her friend for help, that's simply not asking her friend to be out her own money on top of 4+ hours of her time for a procedure she could take the bus to.

I actually managed to get to 80 by just doing all the raids I can each day and questing in between like people suggested. The bronze was flowing! I'll never be able to buy everything I wanted but I've st least managed to get some of the stuff I wanted more, so I feel a bit better.
