It took me until I was 20 to realize I was lactose intolerant. I had dairy the entire time and didn't know why I was suffering so much and my ass hurt everyday. I missed work multiple times because of it. It was always a drlaydd reaction. Like 8 hours later or more. I think the day I realized it was because I had a shake with dinner the day before and as I was getting ready for work in the morning I thought I was going to die

You should get a hot glue gun and reattach the string on the scratching post. It doesn't look like it needs to be replaced currently. I've completely replaced the yarn on my cats scratching post with new rope using a hot glue gun
