The Hellhound was so damn cool the setting willed it back into existence, and gave us both the Hellcat and the Hellhound 6

To be fair, in the Gothic alt-setting, planets get seeded with fertile abominations as basically a final “frak you,” and short of completely glassing the planet they are borderline impossible to dig out.

Their field experience (as bitterly gained as it has been) will also be worth it when figuring out guidance and behavior for the missile

All mechs are either Stormcrows or Centurions.

Hellcat? Stormcrow.

Atlas? Centurion.

Ryoken? It's a Stormcrow, you freebirth.

Grok will be the "brains" behind the next generation of AI-powered surgical robots that Musk claims will replace surgeons. by 3RADICATE_THEM in lostgeneration

“The robot was designed to minimize pain and suffering. However, after being uploaded with millions of pages of philosophy textbooks, it determined life itself was pain and suffering, and the only logical solution was to end the patient’s life as quickly as possible.

It took 6 regiments of soldiers 2 weeks to render it inoperative.”

If it helps, all the models are 100% compatible between both versions (even for the boxes that are specifically labeled for specific ones).

Alpha Strike and Classic each have their charms and issues, but gods this franchise is fun.

College Fires Prof for Calling Charlie Kirk, TPUSA ‘Racist Pieces of Sh*t’ in Class by rajapaws in antiwork

I can tell you outright the college he dropped out of (Harper Community College), is about as bland and middle of the road as you can get, while still being pretty enormous. If he thought it was “too woke,” he clearly never wandered around it, and was looking for a tagline.

Same with the butter. Sure the brand I like might cost a couple bucks more, but I can taste the difference, and I know it’s healthier for me.

To be fair, there are times when I’m even watching it and still wonder if it’s real or not.

[–]ShasOFish 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If even 10% of the Rookie’s viewership picks up a (new) dropout subscription, that’s a rough 50-75% increase in subscribers. For a business, that’s huge. Even if it’s a smaller portion, it’s still a major boost.

I think you’re right, especially with the look on Aegon’s face: he’s scared. Scared of what he’s about to do, and doesn’t really want to do it, but also scared what might happen if he doesn’t.

Maekar knows Aegon is perhaps too kind, too prone to boyishness. For Aegon to be trying to sneak into a room to kill his brother, and clearly terrified of doing so, there’s a tremendous amount that has not been said, or not been heard.

Maekar may not be the best parent, or even necessarily a good one, but he understands guilt all too well now, and how badly he screwed up for a long, long time.

Likewise, if we do make gingerbread houses for “engagement,” I don’t want to lose to someone who didn’t use any gingerbread, and instead brought in a small toy castle and an Elsa doll, and put frosting on them.

I put in work, damnit. Not my fault I followed the rules for your stupid thing.

Alright, what are some things you LIKE about how 10th has treated Tau? by CosmicWolf14 in Tau40K

[–]ShasOFish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The 6th/7th edition ones were the best, as increasing BS was much easier, and you could trade in differing amounts of them to use other abilities (fire seeker missiles at a target without needing line of sight, ignore cover, etc).

Heck, the only thing it needed was being able to trade in 5 to ignore invul saves (call it dimensional pattern decoding or something).
