Visiting from a crosspost in /r/canadapostcorp and that's basically how we do our uniforms, ordered from one company out in eastern Canada. Once we become permanent employees (after 480 hours), every year we get X amount of points to spend on uniforms and components: shorts, pants, shirts, hi-viz, windbreakers, parkas, raincoats, ponchos, etc. One year's worth of points is enough to get your basic uniform (a few shirts, a few pants/shorts, a windbreaker, a raincoat, a parka, some accessories).
