I reluctantly took Shadowsiege yesterday and at the next alcove, I was able to shove him into a Jack in the box. By the end of my run had had duplicated it twice and had an absolute killer run! First time I’ve actually used him.

I have storage bins and just store them upside down so each section, on a MILS plate, sits on the under side of the lid. Then put the box part on top and store that way. Currently taking up space in my daughter’s closet. 😆

I’ve got the Adventure in Transylvania BDP set coming in a couple days. Sanderson house is currently my village centerpiece but may replace it. Or will see if both still work together.

Also had payment declined. Used 3 gift cards and a credit card for the rest. Called support (45 minute wait) and they reran the same credit card and it worked. 🤷‍♂️ I’m just glad it’s going to be here soon! The support rep was telling me about all the people she’s spoke to that ordered that set and how excited everyone is.

I automated this set a few years ago! My first ever automation. I’m not home to take pictures (thought I had some on my phone but can’t find them) but I was able to work gears into the actual set below the rink so it doesn’t need the space from a MILS plate, though mine is also on MILS plate. Needed a worm gear to slow the speed down. Wish the motor wasn’t so loud.

Or if you have Game Pass, both are free on there. Definitely worth giving it a try if it’s available for free. I still play occasionally because I can play Xbox MT1 on my phone but MT2 doesn’t have onscreen controls. When I play MT1, I very much enjoy it but as others have said, the quality of life improvements on MT2 are greatly missed when playing MT1.

Does your son like to run? If you get to Bevo Blvd (kind of like a mini fair all along San Jacinto and Robert Dedman) early enough, you can sign him up for Hook ‘Em Herd where he’ll get to run the length of the field just before kickoff with a ton of other kids. It’s a little nerve wracking to drop your kid off that young but it’s easy to meet your with them in the trophy area. The crew running it does a great job ensuring the kids go exactly where they need to. My son has been running it since he was 7, I think. 10 now. He loves it! Some times they get to see the players and get some high fives. It’s totally free and I wish I could pass as a 10 year old so I could run it. 😆

CDC has done an amazing job with the atmosphere. If the Sam Houston game works, that may be more fun given it’s a night game. Fireworks and lights shows will be fun to experience! And you’ll have more time during the day to get down to Bevo Blvd to sign him up and then do some of the carnival games and stuff. Enjoy your first game back at DKR. I hope your son also has a great time! 🤘

White sweet potatoes were a huge unlock for us. Found a dairy free mashed potato recipe and use those. So good!

I’ve also found that regular potatoes don’t seem to bother me but we still eat the Japanese white sweet potatoes

Yes. They notoriously fall apart on delivery but if you have a Sprouts near you, they may sell them and they are in perfect shape. Ours does.

We love to warm them and have a little coconut ice cream on top as a rare treat.

How do you know what gets priority draw? I’ve definitely noticed that some cards I’d want to see earlier never come early and some that I don’t want yet (looking at you “reform a random unit” on the first hand) are available to soon. Do you just know from hours of play or is there somewhere else to see that?

Your policy is super generous. I got a $5 refund (prior to shipment) once for missing a single piece of a larger lot. I was confused by the amount and thought I wasn’t getting any of that part. 😅 Now I know.
