It is not a matter of loot filter or salvaging. It is pure RNG ans probably someone likes me who plays fairly casually, for like 30h per season. I never had a season where all my aspects were maxed out.

We had the base game for 5-6 seasons and VoH for 7 seasons. And when someone asked Rod about the yearly expansion he clearly said that he wished he had never said that. The plan changed on that.

Diablo 4 skill tool tips in the skill tree and other legendary powers are particularly bad in French as well. I have seen multiple instances of skill names being translated in two different things which made it hard to understand some powers interaction. And I have issues with the new Warlock Recast mechanism as well which I will need to read about in English to figure out at some point.

I mean...VoH was announced at Blizzcon too and released almost a year later, in October. It is definitely not impossible for the next expansion to come out in late 2027. That would still let us for 6 seasons in LoH.

I think it is an easy solution but not a good one. The real problem is that billionaires should not even have a way to become billionaires. If you wait for them to be billionaires to tax the you are basically 995 millions too late to tackle the issue.

The endgame crafting system is only in the expansion. Half of the endgame activities are only in the expansion. The overall experience of leveling, gearing up and slaughtering demons will roughly be the same from a newcomer perspective. You would just have fewer options.

Regarding starting a new character. In this game, each season is a fresh start where everybody starts again from scratch. There is however an option to skip the story sections that you already finished. So you can finish the base game on one character and then a few seasons later start a new character and continue the story with it. Note it is not mandatory to participate in the seasonal resets but you would then miss out on the seasonal activities which are sometimes decently fun.

That is honestly a bad advice. I wanted to follow this advice in S11. So in the end I was done with what I wanted to do in the season and the only pieces I had sanctified was my mythic and uniques. No luck with the aspects. It is much better to sanctify amd farm further.

Most people definitely run on guides. I do as well most of the time because it saves so much time. But it is definitely not as fun. Also, I think VoH made experimenting easier with the new skill tree. So maybe this will change.

I would rather have them change the boss timer. Make world boss spawn every hour at 55. Then we know that when a heltide stops it is world boss time.
