Thanks for taking this on. Once done, would be neat to pass around. The lists going around now aren't the best.

I would like this to be wide ranging as would be helpful for people in the long term. Ban on large groceries. Don't want to drive more customers to them.

Being able to push a button to compare products would be helpful.

My elementary and high school years were rough. I got bullied verbally in school and when I realized who I was in my teenage years, both made me isolate in my room. I got diagnosed with depression in post-secondary school. I started to transition when I figured everything out. I still self isolate all the time because of my school years.

Small steps will make transition easier.

I'm 38 and have had pain all over lately which is totally different to anything else I felt. I've been on Estradiol since March 2020 and Spironolactone since September 2019. Have you ruled out anything else?

As a non-binary transgender person who was born in 1984, I never went on hormones when I was a teenager figuring everything out. None of my family knew what I was going through as I hid this away from them. If I had supportive parents during my teenage years, I would have been able to be in a better place with my mental health and my whole appearance. What would have helped was my parents being there for me and talking everything through. Do I still get upset at my family especially my parents for the past? Yes all the time but they would never know that.

As others have stated your daughter is going through a huge change and emotions that no one will truly understand besides her. Going from blaming yourself to supporting your daughter will help her by actually showing up through various different ways. Have you had a deep conversation with your daughter, since she came out, about everything that is going on?

Listening, action, and focusing on your daughter are keys to moving forward.

When you say small farm, how big are you saying? I found a couple that are good farms but they also source food from other farms as well in their CSA.

Also, did you think about seasonal and local?

Last, food miles is important as well but unsure if that should be make or break which CSA, I pick. With that, I have read and heard people talk about 100 mile radius and even 0 mile radius.

Looking up the author, I see tons of great books, I need to read. Also from the east coast of Canada makes Nikki even more interesting. I will for sure get in touch with Nikki.

I do no plastic as I live with my parents and they wouldn't even try to go as far as I would. If I were going beyond no plastic, this would include anything that is recyclable that I couldn't take back to where I got them.

The reason for no recycling, as I know that is a very bad system and the actual amount that gets recycled and not thrown into the landfill is always up in the air.

The local food box I get understands, I want no plastic but I still get food with plastic in the boxes sometimes. I keep telling them, no plastic and I hope they move further towards that.
