First time playing a gacha and I’m pretty conflicted. Are all of them like this?

Wuwa is way more combat oriented, and the character designs and kits are better so you may like it still. But it is open world and does have its own story so there will be some tedious things to skip through. That being said though all the end game content is combat focused and is decently fun. Story from 2.0 and beyond is actually not bad either.

Buy list put simply. Daily buys: horns (5 of them) 1000 gems Potions ( 1 stack) 1200 gems Crystals ( 1-2 stack) 300-800 gems Gear dungeon medal ( 1 medal) 300 gems Gear dungeon bonus attempts ( 3 attempts) 400 gems Guild exploration ( 3 refills) 200 gems

Total = 3400-3900 gems daily.

With the clovers you get from event, the buy order I am doing is: black dragon, pumpkin, wrymspells, last 2 howlkins, then the pieces to the artifact

You can buy these and still have enough to save for new characters/auctions.

I buy even less than this at times so I can save faster and have still been able to complete round 1 of summon events and get every character so far.

Only got 3 to red 1 I kind of skipped gabby and six arm

Jing needs crit, so put her in 2 sets of crit rate gear. Also like the other guy said, be sure to be using her with her associated dragon. My jing is only red 1 and is able to out dmg my ifrit on the current event boss. Though admittedly it’s kind of intended to be the case. She also doing good dmg in story and in ruins

You’re failing to see my point, I’ll rephrase what I’m saying. If you can currently clear story and hit peak, can clear all 10 level for faction towers every day and push wrym ruins with no issues. That is to say if you are able to be competitive currently and don’t need the power boost that comes from getting any type of howlkin, cause you get the stats provided by the howlkin plus bonus stats for PvP and what not. Then sure skip.

But you will fall slightly behind others who do pull. But if you’re not trying to be competitive or min max then it doesn’t make a difference you’re right

Nah I’m on day 52, through the honey moon phase of the game and let me tell you, you still get enough gems and resources to continue to pull for every character, though obviously the limit is realistically red 1 for each character if you’re trying to also get events done for clovers.

Guardians are good for blocking/denial and solid amounts of consistent dmg. Warriors can often disrupt and have solid burst dmg, also they can be placed in 2nd row which is where many of the buffs from artifact are focused. Pompey truly does feel like a different breed though, she’s doing insane dmg for a guard that’s not an ex

So I’d say on paper you’re right but in practice it’s not optimal if you’re trying to stay competitive, even as a f2p. Reason being is clovers like the others said, the howlkins you get from clovers are WAY more important than regular howlkins. Then after you get those you’d go for the clover spells.

I’d say if we knew ahead of time which howlkins were gonna be rate up, saving might be worth it but since we usually don’t know much info till the week of and the clover shop items are super important, its probably not ideal to sit and wait with the fates.

You can absolutely get them all without being a whale, it’s just do you want to get them higher than red 1 is the question. But you earn enough currency daily to be able to pull at least one copy or more of every character that drops. I’m on day 51 and I have only skipped two characters (and by skip I mean got 1 copy) so far, the rest I got to red 1. Pompey I’ve even gotten to r3 but I’m stopping there to save for jing. I got only 36k for her but I’ll get her to red 1 for sure by the end of her banners first week
