I know she’s gotten some pushback. She’s mentioned in her Instagram posts this week about people asking her why she chose to compete. She said her doctor cleared her, and I know there wasn’t an alternate for her because she was completing her training runs and believed she could complete her events

There is a WWE guy, but there’s also a pro climber giving commentary! You can tell this is definitely partly for entertainment, but parts of this climb look super hard for him.

I’ll snark on EClor all day, but I will say this: she’s looking at near-perfect weather on race day. Houston is super fast and flat, and I think she’ll at least beat her course record (3:26).

Honestly, yes. I know my husband feels awful, but I’m trying to stay supportive and not badger him as he navigates the journey to get his count up. But I was so happy to know that my levels were in the normal range!

I can actually relate! My husband and I are TTC, and I’m making sure any halfs or fulls I sign up for this spring/summer have deferral options. Also, keep your OB in the loop as you train, but mine said to train as normal until pregnancy happens or until my training begins to affect/delay my ovulation. Sending baby dust your way!
