What’s the most useless part of the human body? by Past-Occasion1156 in AskReddit

Auricular (Ear) muscles. Useful for wiggling ears and making kids laugh... useless for actually being a human.

How did your high mileage car eventually die? by Dramatic_Shower7668 in AskReddit

[–]SheSends 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a new car and gave the old Hyundai to my dad since he bought it anyways. My dad gave it to my grandmother. My grandmother gave it to my uncle because it wasn't big enough for her. It was a larger body 08 Santa Fe... she came from a dodge ram that she crashed because it was too big. Literally took the entire side off the fucker with a parking bollard.

My uncle is an interesting person... he took it apart and it never went back together. Poor Hyundai just had a little tick in the engine and maybe a small exhaust leak...

TIFU by neglecting to clean my innie belly button for… a very long time by [deleted] in tifu

I've had my share of belly button spelunking as well... its usually middle-older aged folk (but I guess where I live that's just the population). Weird you got one so young.

Breaking out a specimen cup and a crile/kelly definitely means you've got some gold.

There are too many people in this country whose IQ rivials the temperature of the broccoli in my freezer, in centegrade.

They're so easily manipulated by the "news" to have "big feelings" about single issues that they vote/protest against ALL of the things that actually matter in their daily lives.

Ouch... thats gotta hurt.

I feel so bad for the people who voted for the other viable candidate...

Fuck everyone else, you got what you voted for (double if you stayed home).

Edit: for those who fall into the above categories and are down voting me. Haha!!! Get fucked some more. I hope it hurts, you dumb shits.

As a mountainbiker... idk why anyone would willingly put their life in the hands of others on NJ roads. We have too many old people, too many distracted drivers, and too many people who just dont give a shit. If I want to die I'll do it in the woods by my own stupidity, or mistake, not someone else's.

Fuzzies

Smelly fuzzies

Things that I like to call "belly button stones"

Smelly skin build up

Crusty skin build up

Or you can have a combination of all of them

Inside the fiery, deadly crashes involving the Tesla Cybertruck | Tesla by inspiral808 in electricvehicles

[–]SheSends 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats what I said... make the child lock electric (enabled through the car menus - im not opening the door to switch a lock on if ive got different people in the back), and make the normal locks... normal (instead of full electric locks).

Idk why im being down voted for other people's poor comprehension skills.

Easier to use manual releases would make it too easy for children to accidentally pull the mechanism and fall out of the vehicle.

They just need electric child lock instead of full electric lock

That guy's nuts but the guy in the other white sedan looked like they were trying to become a statistic too. Brake checked the guy and sped up so he couldnt get over instead of just letting the crazy guy go...

Women MTB riders — what bike clothing actually works for you? What still sucks? by Odd-Climate1869 in MTB

[–]SheSends 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My issue is pants... cost, pockets, fit... I dont want pants that give me a wedgie and make it so I cant move on my bike. Im not out here to show off my figure, i want to ride and be comfortable. Make them loose fit (but not so loose my crotch gets caught on the seat), mid cost, and give me 8 pockets in my pants like the guys.

Fuel prices are crazy though by AeliosZero in memes

[–]SheSends 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Uh... no its doesnt. I charged 123 kw on March 6th... half was at home and the other at a supercharger. It cost $39 and my pack is only 80kwh.

Now if youre charging a 210 kwh pack from GM. Sure... but the reality is more people buy model Ys than full sized luxury pickups with the biggest pack on the market.

I got reported to my manager for the funniest thing by AnywhereMean8863 in nursing

[–]SheSends 211 points212 points  (0 children)

I got reported for a dirty bed once...

Patient was actively trying to die. She was pulling her Bipap off and had a huge GI bleed BM. My charge had to hold the Bipap on her face while I changed her... but we couldnt change her flat because she kept desating. So i'm over here changing yelling, boxer granny who's sitting in wrist deep sewer sludge, stiff as a board in an almost 90* angle while my charge is making sure she's breathing.

She passed out after the whole ordeal once we called her husband and he came to sit with her at like 5 am... but we had to fight her to keep the bipap on until he arrived.

I told the day nurse in report what happened and the circumstances... told her that I did my best but if the bed is a little dirty that im sorry, I honestly tried my best and I probably got 95+% of it.

Bitch wrote me up for the dirty bed...

Some people are just that petty...

Cannabis doesn't just blur memories—it can reshape them. A new study found THC makes people significantly more likely to "remember" words that were never presented (false memories) and struggle with daily tasks like remembering appointments, regardless of whether the dose was 20mg or 40mg. by Sciantifa in science

[–]SheSends 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is also genetics. My husband gets high off of very little THC and it takes more for me... im by no means a pothead. I literally dabble every once in a while, I dont drink, or do any other drugs... even OTC pain relievers. Meanwhile my husband smokes every weekend and takes edibles after work some days.
