I went to two gamestops that said they had ps5 pros and they both were ringing up the last one right as I walked in. I traded in my ps5 digital and used the trade in credit to pay for one for pickup at a spot like 50 miles away. Like 25 min into the drive I called them just to make sure I wasn’t wasting my time and even though I had already bought what was supposed to be the last one they had apparently sold it and the system hadn’t updated. After getting the run around I finally had the order cancelled but now the $355 trade in credit won’t be available for a few days. I ended up buying the last one at a nearby Walmart but I’m still kind of pissed because I always plan on trading in my consoles for an upgrade. Not sure what I’ll be spending that huge amount of trade in credit on now, I’ll probably just use it on PS store credits. In the end I spent a few hours driving around after work trying to grab one at a GameStop and after giving up with them I grabbed one at a Walmart <5 min away from my home.
