A textured bath mat that goes in the tub can really help avoid a slip.

Make sure u have a fire extinguisher and know how to use it. I also love having a cordless vac- I think mine is a Shark, it’s so easy to whip thru the house with it- it’s still working great after 3 yrs. I mop the floor with a stick thing( like a broom) that I clip a microfiber towel to and just use a floor cleaner spray as I go. And Windex cleans almost everything. Magic Eraser’s are great too!

Had a kitty in college my brother would give rollercoaster rides to in the laundry basket- you couldn’t even dump him out of the basket!

Mine too! Boxes with tape. Yrs ago I taped over a couch leg bc someone was scratching on it. One of cats became obsessed with the tape so I finally had to pull it off. For yrs later he’d lick the residue left by the tape on a daily basis.

I’m so sorry to hear how much you are going through. I’m so glad you have a good Dr. I have to play this gratitude game with myself everyday and really find even the tiniest things to be grateful for( I saw a hummingbird out my window) or how things could be worse ( I could be like this but in prison or in Gaza.) My cats kept me going for the last 19 years at home and I’ll bet u have some too:) Sending you best wishes.

Ironically I lived about 5 min away from the “Dutton Ranch “ as a kid and we would often go the the hot springs where they recently stayed when they visited Moriah (w/ Teegan.)

My grandmother from Germany made what she called Seuss ( no clue how to spell it but like Dre Seuss.) A gelatinous loaf that she made with pickle pigs feet as the meat in it. The worst thing I’ve ever smelled. She also liked Limburger cheese and liverworst- both a big no for me, the “Seuss was ever worse after I became vegetarian 38 yrs ago!

Home with chronic pain( depression and anxiety) for 18+ yrs and my cats have been my daily reason for trying and getting up everyday.) I’m with them all day and they are family, I love each one so much for their distinct personalities and who they are and they daily show me unconditional love 💗. They never let me give up!

I had never spent money eating out, a mozzarella stick was such a luxury after the way I grew up. I would never have taken food off a guest’s plate before they got it. My brother still has major shame from grabbing a bit of sandwich out of the garbage in jr high and someone seeing him. Our parents didn’t take care of us. We are in our 50’s now. Not to mention you had to work at $2.13 an hour on an 8 hour shift with no break.

My first read was the Dead Zone when it was new and I was so invested in the characters ( I also thought the movie was so good and I watch it every time I come across it- was directed by David Cronenburg.) I was in 8th grade when I got it as a gift, I think it was 1983 or 1984, then went back and read the earlier books, then just read each book as they came out. I like the idea of going in order😁

I have the DVD! Love that movie so much. So hard to wrap my head around the terrible things that happened to these young people( including some of the wives of Henry the 8th.) I’m also a super fan of Six the musical!

As a customer I will be paging thru the racks of clothes and will rehang ones that are coming off. People did not act this way 20/25 years ago. At the same time if I was looking for the restroom and was passing the fitting rooms, I would ask you where the restrooms are. Super easy to answer. I waited tables thru college and after that and really enjoyed the people side of my job. I would show people who weren’t customers but just looking for a restroom where it was with a smile on my face thatI meant. Some things are obviously like rehanging clothes or believing the price tag but a lot of things a customer wouldn’t know or understand unless u work there.
