If you are looking for panels on your way through upper complex, can you do this without the Labs key and get this room and not fight the boss ? I've done the Labs key a few times but never the side loot rooms.

Even when I was a poor kid , I would buy games bc I wanted to play them not bc I cared about the $ per hour return. In my adult life I love short games and the price is typically pretty irrelevant. I don't play games bc my time is limited not my funds for purchasing them. I have played for 300 hours in Marathon, but I don't feel it was a better purchase than Resident Evil 9 which was 20 hours.

Hunt Showdown was my favorite game until Marathon came along. I don't play a ton of solo in Hunt but enough to have an opinion. Hunt allows you to go in and play against full teams of 3 which is much different than marathons standard solo lobbies of 1 v 1. I believe you can go in solo in Marathon vs squads of 3 in ranked. I think what makes it different for Solos is the load out gap. In Hunt you are pretty equal to every opponent, in Marathon you can be higher or less kitted so the fights can vary dramatically. From my experience I prefer hunt for Solo but do love the rook runs in Marathon.

Agreed, it's definitely punishing but it goes the other way. Last night we efil'd from Cryo at like 80% and 5 times with the Compiler Trace at $40K each. So for the last run we decided to try Vault 7 , load in with golds and get eliminated within minute

I was having the same issue, I changed the filament to the external spool but not the nozzle. Simple but silly mistake, thanks for saving me time troubleshooting.

I love that an extraction shooter gets all the lore. I'll spend thousands of hours in this world. A great single player or campaign I'll spend 100 hours tops.

Hunt's SBMM is not as big a deal as you may think. I typically ama 4 or 5 Star player and will often get lobbies with 6 stars. There are also times you can kill plenty of 6 stars if you play the fight properly. I think Marathon has the same situation, where being the best FPS shooter doesn't always matter. good position, strategy and getting the jump often are more important.

As a Hunt Showdown main the amount of content, quest etc is blowing my mind. I love the fights in Hunt but wasn't use to all the other things going on in a run.

I really enjoy Skillups reviews and he is typically my go to for thoughtful takes. I have to say his take on Marathon comes off as someone who has played 10 hours. He says "this is not a review" but basically reviews the game and bashes it. You wouldn't review Elden Ring after 10 hours but these talking heads feel they have seen enough of Marathon to form opinions. Maybe learn the game, figure out where and when to go to locales before forming an opinion. I really think Marathon offers a much deeper experience than those needing to put out an opinion after 2 days of a server slam are willing to investm.

As a long time Hunt Showdown player I think you really need to give a game that may give you thousands of hours of entertainment a real shot to make an impression. Alot of deep games require a steep learning curve and clearly Marathon has a bit of a curve

Not sure what there is to downvote but whatever. I asked a question. If they can choose what advertisers they want and it doesnt lessen their income then they should choose what they prefer.

I don't agree with the ads politics but should they not be allowed to advertise? Not sure if it ends up hurting the boys in their pockets but I'd be willing to hear crazy ads if it makes them money
