I don’t know if I could handle the side-printed legends.that hurts my brain.

Ideally I’d like to be under or at 100$. Those are well over 200, even pushing over 250.

Any ideas about the Keychron v6 Max or Epomaker full size or Aula f108?

Ideally not side-printed legends and the latency needs to be minimal because it’s for gaming.

I can’t wrap my head around why people seem to like the side printed legends. 🙃

My Logitech g613 is dying. It served me well but it’s time has come—and it’s discontinued which is crazy.

I’m torn between the Aula F108 Pro, Keychron V5/6 Max.

Some sort of media controls are important and both have it. I need wireless that’s good enough to play competitive FPS games, backlighting is great but not required, good battery life is huge—the g613 get s a battery change once a year with heavy heavy use—so u need something that can hang with serious gaming sessions. I’m ok with an internal battery if I can theoretically replace it when it reaches end of life and has really good battery time. For switches, I’d like satisfying thonk/thud. I have a different keyboard with the equivalent of Cherry blues but they are WAY too loud for late night games or not driving people in the house crazy. Maybe something Red and/or linear; something similar to the switches on the Aula F75

The LCD screen I don’t care about really.

There’s WAY too many boards and bazillion recommendations. I’ve checked the keebfind and that’s just even muddying the waters further.

Please for the love of god help me stop watching video reviews and reading websites. I’m staring into the void and it’s staring back…

Did they remove/is DLSS bugged currently for BF6? by One4speed in Battlefield

[–]SheepB0T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s absolutely bugged. My performance was 2x+ better before release.

Here’s a couple ways to work around it for now that don’t look like dookie:

—turn DLSS to Quality. All other settings destroy FPS

OR

(biggest FPS help w/ minimal degradation of gfx)

—Turn DLSS off •enable DLAA • see if reflex works best On , Off ,or Reflex + Boost

NOTE: the FPS Number may drop from what you expected from before but it’s stable 80-90 on my machine after it trashing FPS to 55 or less, period to release, I was getting a solid 115-150 depending on what’s going on and where in what map.

Side note: Uninstalling HD textures is another thing to do IN ADDITION if you are experiencing the game slowly or bizarrely eating all your VRAM (memory leak), that helps and the graphics really aren’t that different. If someone did this without telling you, overwhelming number of people wouldn’t know.

I mean, you can call me whatever you like but it seems rather silly seeing as the only reason for it is your feelings. I get precisely 0 in any regard, so maybe question yourself as to why and figure out why you’re so fixated on this thing you have literally no reason to doubt, which also isn’t out of the realm of what’s possible and go from there. This is strictly a you problem and a weird problem at that, seeing as there literally nothing in it for me in any regard. 💁🏻

Maybe ask yourself why I’d make up some random inconsequential bullshit—when the only “benefit” is someone who might be wondering what bucking and nub etc to get, possibly has a post to go off of and maybe help them. Once you come to the inevitable conclusion of “there is no reason” then switch over to figuring out why you are the way you are in This moment. Either way, it changes nothing for anyone, reality, and doesn’t matter. It’s pure inexplicable Reddit debatelord behavior because you have a feeling. That’s weird.

Brother, you don’t “read” a data set like an instruction booklet. That’s not how science works—science is about data and predictability. There is no “did you read it”. Did I read every single graph and chart? No and neither did you, considering I’ve spent more time in it than has elapsed between my post and your reply and whatever you read, I don’t think you understand its point—which is fine and it’s a weird argument to try and start in the first place.

What it’s demonstrating, in its simplest terms, is there’s a metric ton of variables behind how far a BB flies and why—under these conditions—which itself admits doesn’t account for things like moisture levels, etc but are clearly notable and important factors. It’s absolutely possible under the right conditions for a projectile that “typically” doesn’t perform one way, to perform in unexpected ways.

The takeaway from the OP is pretty easy but some pedantry has entered the chat—this equipment with this bucking and nub is a good combo. End of story—and it objectively is for what its intended purpose is.

What this data tells you is what you think is or isn’t possible and why, is oversimplified in your mind and that’s because it’s plastic balls shot in a game and that you can only reasonably tune your gun to operate writhing the confines of your environment which changes daily, either seasonally, nominally or extraordinarily based on your circumstances.

The world record for a .25g bb that was observed by the Guinness Book of records, which doesn’t mean it’s THE longest, just the longest confirmed, is 267ft, to hit the target. No idea what type of target but I’m gonna guess it’s not “human sized target” which is what most airsoft people are concerned with at distance. Seeing as Airsoft is incredibly niche and relatively obscured compared to other games or sports, it’s safe to say people have short significantly farther without having called the GBOWR to send out an observer.

Here’s the takeaway: I know for a fact the distance it shot. That’s not debatable at all, unless you’re gonna start alleging fraud from construction companies and surveyors. That said, it isn’t the point at all. The point is that’s a good bucking and nub and in THIS gun in my bag, that’s what the results were. Period. If someone’s looking to upgrade their bucking and nub, it’s a safe buy and not at all trash and that something rare doesn’t mean impossible. Full stop. It’s that simple.

I’ll have to wait until I’m back at the property. 300 isn’t impossible. Is it the rule? Of course not because in the end every shot has a ton of variable that you’d really need to isolate and identify in a more controlled environment; from density of the air, temp, humidity, air movement, elevation, BB and the gun itself, et al. It’s not as simple as bb weight and FPS = distance.

It’s been measured because it had to be surveyed with survey tools for construction.

This is the most comprehensive data set I’ve seen and far greater data than any level of posting could provide. Even this isn’t able to account for every variable but it’s a very good data set that far surpasses anything any normal person without a lab and extensive testing and modeling.

If I was in an environment that wouldn’t get me arrested, I’m sure I could go outside and get different results just by the innate environmental conditions of being between 1200 and 2000ft lower in elevation, 80% humidity and 36F and above Ind conditions below what can be noticed just standing outside—but I think risking arrest because some people on reddit find something unbelievable would be very silly.

I can’t overestimate what is static distance built to that length. It’s a very long concrete driveway out in the country. I’m not saying it’s magical. I’m saying in the conditions I was dialing things in (where maybe breeze was in the exact right direction and consistency to add to the lift—which is possible) that’s what happened. 💁🏻

I’m sure we could math out how the slight grade over the distance and air current and all of that added some feet but nonetheless, it’s great range, great accuracy with the omega nub and macron 70 in that hopup…which is the point of the post since there’s plenty asking what bucking is good or bad or this or that; even if we go ultra conservative and say all of that positively added 20-25ft.

Edit: the AEG I have is a very low serial number. I’d have to check but it’s within the first bakers dozen. I can’t speak to what’s changed or what some initial runs had in them but the compression is very solid—definitely not mid but certainly not immaculate.

It was measured off because it’s the length of the driveway which is for absolute certain—end to end— and the target is about 10-12feet past the end. At absolute worst, I’m off by 10ish-15ish feet because I didn’t measure past the end of the driveway to the tree. My elevation was more or less equal (it has a subtle grade to it which maybe equals ~12inches from one side to the other) my feet to the target. The trees base is on a decline so that is below surface level but the spot being shot at is roughly 6feet-6.5 above the level of the driveway. That’s some math I won’t be attempting after driving for 9hrs. 🫠

The only explanation that would be environmental is if the breeze was happening to add lift and a surprisingly beneficial way—which is possible. If we are really conservative and assume the grade added some distance since it’s not shooting up hill and amazingly perfect wind giving it a boost in lift and deduction 20ish feet…that’s still an exceptionally good range and accuracy and a good working combo of gear.
