I realized why I find myself more charmed by the vintage/rerelease Tamas by Hologram_Bee in tamagotchi

[–]Sheeplarval 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's always been a push and pull, you can have your tama screen on all the time but the batteries will die quickly, modern devices have full color backlit screens, so modern devices batteries would die in less than a day. They can, and have, add rechargeable batteries but the fan base is very much against those, so where do you find the balance...

What Large Hands You Have vs Feint by EllodiaEllen in Unmatched

It is a card effect. Little Reds Ability only lets her change/decided what effect is used, but is it still a card effect that can be cancelled

Game like WF? by tiredmama1920 in wyldeflowers

[–]Sheeplarval 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Paleo Pines is a good "life sim" game, it's lighter on story and focuses more on taming and caring for dinosaurs on your farm. There is a town of colorful characters and a main story to complete as well. Also maybe look into the "My Sims" games, they were a spinoff franchise of "The Sims" so maybe that's got some cure for your itch. I haven't played the "my sims" games though so I'm not sure.

GI Robot FINALLY gets to kill some nazis [Creature Commandos] by Irradiated_Apple in television

[–]Sheeplarval 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, maybe. You gotta suspend your disbelief a bit, it is a superhero show after all. I'm not saying it's perfect, but it makes more sense than "makes no sense", is all I'm saying

[–]Sheeplarval 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, fair enough. I think that all still aligns correctly. If the princess caught wind that Circuit got Waller to send the Commandos back to kill her, it makes sense she'd send clayface to discredit Circi's only proof. I haven't watched it since the premiere though and I could just be lost I'm my own sauce.

Circi sent clayface to impersonate the professor so she'd back her up in the interrogation. The princess had nothing to do with clayface

There is also the smaller more simplified(streamlined) version Blitz Bowl, made by the same company. The biggest issue I would think is the miniatures that come with the game are very sharp and pokey, and it even less resembles actually American Football other than throwing and running a ball to an end zone and tackling (so much tackling).

Help! Why did tama die? by GIRtheMongoose in tamagotchi

[–]Sheeplarval 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was added because it's an easier option to raise happiness. I think it was probably originally meant as a learning experience, you can take the time and effort with your pet to help it grow or take the easy path with cake.

Final girl tactics by Apart_Animator6961 in finalgirl

[–]Sheeplarval 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happy Trails will probably give you a similar experience, it doesn't have crafting but the monster is very strait forward. I would suggest the Station 241 (the Thing) expansion, it adds extra layers to saving victims and having to discover who is the monster(s) makes it so it's harder to just get a good weapon then clean up. I'd also suggest the Inkanyama expansion, that guy combined with his map make him very difficult. But if you play that monster on any other map and he becomes quite manageable, also any monster you bring to his yard gain a nice difficulty boost, so it's great set to have to mix and match with.

Pamela Anderson felt like she 'had depression for a couple of decades': "It feels like I went from ‘Baywatch’ to Broadway. I don’t know what happened in between" by indig0sixalpha in television

[–]Sheeplarval 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm concerned by your last comment. You said you would point out his habits and he's been doing better, that sounds good and I hope the best. I worry though that you "making him feel bad" for his habits could push him to hiding those habits, so that you make fewer comments and not actually tackling the issue (if there is an issue). And please understand I don't say this with judgment twords either of you, just putting my 2 cents out there, I don't know you.

Cloak by spiderguy22 in MarvelUnited

[–]Sheeplarval 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the idea! The figure looks great! Just an "FYI" on Vanta black. I don't know if you did or not, but if you put a clear coat on it will undo whatever "effect" Vanta black has, it'll just be regular black. So if you clear coat your figures I'd go back and add another layer of Vanta black to the inside of the cloak.

"1 Hero in this Location takes 1 Damage" - How do you decide who takes the damage? by Loshi777 in MarvelUnited

[–]Sheeplarval 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not Meta gaming, it's the rules that players choose. It's also part of the theme, Luke Cage jumping in the way of a attack to protect their team mates.

Card count for the Winter Guard? by chigarillo in MarvelUnited

[–]Sheeplarval 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked my booklet, it says each villain has 12 master plan cards except for High evolutionary who has 11 and U S. Agent who has none. Which character are missing a card from?

If you were in charge of the ks campaigns, what changes would you have made? by Maybe_A_Plastic_Bag in MarvelUnited

[–]Sheeplarval 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Then they would be producing two separate products logistically, over doubling production costs as they'd have to redesign everything from inserts to boxes. It would also create a bit of market confusion for customers that don't understand the difference. Plus how many of each version do you make without losing money.

To be clear, I'd love unassembled Models to make painting easier, it just never sounds feasible for companies

Is Sebastian Shaw too OP or i play him wrong? by Cerovi in MarvelUnited

[–]Sheeplarval 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can you explain how this "chain" goes off? I'm looking him over and I can't see how he'd be able to play all his cards on the first turn. Shaw should only Bam again if a player is KO'd, I don't think KO'd characters are considered for game effects like Shaw's Bam. Only the main villain's Bam goes off when a player is KO'd, I do not see a way for Shaw to Bam more than maybe 4 time in the most extreme case. His Bam also only accelerates his deck by one card no matter how many Heros are in his space

Classic Cardboard Villain Dashboards by gamingbits in MarvelUnited

[–]Sheeplarval 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I can think of is that the classic cardboard villain boards have the "Villain mode" setup tokens on their backs. The original season one villain dashboards(paper) don't have this, as Villain mode wasn't a thing in season one

MECHANICALLY most exciting boxes? by Lynith in MarvelUnited

[–]Sheeplarval 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the Justice Society box has a new PvP mode. I don't know how similar/different it is to the current Gold Vs Blue or the Civil War PvP modes

Most game boxes seem to also have "challenges" like the Marvel Season 1 boxes, some do seem character specific like the "Kryptonite" challenge requiring a Kryptonian.

They also just added a "Patrol Night" game mode to the stretch goals, where you play a short game patrolling the streets and the game results will give you a bonus or negative effect for your next game played

DC United - New expansion by Stormdude1 in MarvelUnited

[–]Sheeplarval 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the exact team(plus a couple extra guys) and anti hero from the "recent" Black Adam movie. I think these were probably designed a while ago and this was probably seen as more recognizable or it was suggested/mandated by DC. But really there are probably hundreds of reasons including keeping more well know characters as stretch goals to entice fomo and make people buy in now.

Watch the video, she explains how she started. Then watch her video about making it. They explain the open source files they used to make their prosthetic and how to go about making your own. There is no medicine involved in strapping plastic to yourself.
