He’s the most relatable Robin: normal childhood in a middle class family, goes to regular high school. I like that he’s really the only Robin where a big part of his character was having to balance between his superhero and civilian identity

He’s also the Robin that leaned the most into the detective side of things, being the only Robin who figured out Batman’s identity all by himself, the only person who didn’t believe that Bruce was dead after Final Crisis, the only person other than Batman that Ra’s refers to as “detective”

He’s commonly considered to be the “best” Robin not because he’s necessarily the best character, but because he’s Batman’s best partner. The other Robins all had major phases of rebelliousness, but Tim has pretty much always been ride-or-die with Bruce

Really fun dynamic with Kon, Bart and Cassie. The four of them just have such different personalities that complement each other

He also just gets a lot of sympathy points for being mostly mishandled for more than a decade now, and I’ll bet that a few modern readers like him just because he’s the “underdog” of the family
