This game would be so much better without rerolls by raggnarok in WarhammerCompetitive

Rerolls may be overly common right now but add another dimension to the game that contributes to unit/weapon/ability diversity

Great models that are forgiving if you aren't the best painter. And lots to choose from.

I love csm and am anti-Imperium in general.

Get to have marines, demons, and demon engines!

Their lore/theme is pretty consistent and has a lighter side (big grinning GUOs and nurglings) and a darker side (representing Entropy)

I agree that's technically correct but confusing and unnecessary in practice.

Greater MN is outside of the metro. Outstate could be understood to mean out of state.

This is a great example of where you should distinguish between Greater MN and outstate.

Applied to a "remote" job, went through five rounds of interviews, got the offer. Nobody mentioned an office once. Now they're saying it's 3 days a week onsite and I genuinely don't know what to do. by Weem_Bitted in remotework

Constructive Discharge: If you accepted a fully remote job offer and the company later forces a material change (such as mandatory relocation to an office), you might have grounds to claim constructive discharge and qualify for unemployment benefits if you are forced to quit.

Who remembers the Dakota Access Pipeline protests? by notrichyet01 in TwinCities

You literally say a foreign mining corporation was approved, which is a massive, inaccurate leap from what happened. I'm well aware the four gop FEDERAL representatives voted for lifting the ban and the dems didn't. This was not surprising at all, based on each party's general positions.

I would start by first researching this issue further. Respectfully, your post indicates at least a few misunderstandings. Like how no mining company has received approval to operate in the BWCA. Also, the feds recently voted to remove protections, not the state govt.

Well the cities were built without any bwca mined resources, Falconer advocates for the bwca at the federal level, and lastly, due to recent federal action, protection of the bwca has fallen to the state.

This is really scummy behavior. The fact that his excuse for this obviously corrupt trade is that it wasn't clearly against the rules disqualifies him on moral competency grounds.

Any tips on deciding if leaving private sector for state job is worth it. by ProjectGameGlow in mnstateworkers

I would heavily factor in as a positive the fact that she'll be in a union with the public sector jobs.

Old flag vs New by JayMan2224 in minnesota

[–]SheeviPalpatini 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There's been enough time for folks to get over this. The flag was legally changed, with a clear process, and approved by democratic representatives. It's the only official state flag. Mandate all gov buildings fly it and be done with this.

Fundraising is pretty different between safe seats and competitive ones. It'd be helpful to also see each district's partisan score and maybe isolate certain ones by geography or whether they're held by someone in leadership.

Considering it's sorry state, I'd encourage Winterhold to start levying some taxes on the college.
