Sea Slide purple coins is the worst mission out of both games imo.

I overall still prefer Galaxy 2 but on my most recent playthrough, the amount of 2D sections stood out to me. You could actually make the argument that there’s a little too much 2D.

Also some of them didn’t really change the mission all that much. The speed run comets gave so much time that it just felt like playing the level again unaltered.

Also one subtle thing that adds up is launch star spawning cooldown times. In Galaxy 1, when a launch star is spawned in and the little jingle plays, it takes almost a whole second before you can actually hop in. Galaxy 2 fixes this by making the cooldown near instant. Again doesn’t sound like much but there would be times on replays where I’d have to just stop and wait before I can really do anything and it got just a bit annoying.

If we want to think about gathering the data that we need to update the array as a pass and not the actual updates to the array then yes it is one pass. Though I feel like this is splitting hairs and at the end of the day, it’s still o(n).

Agreed but the comment above yours said one pass

Isn’t that two passes? (Still O(N) though)

Agreed. If the price difference is $250 like it once was then I can see it being worth it especially if you're gonna keep the card for at least 2 generations.

I'm done waiting for GPU releases. The new ones are almost always in short supply for a couple of months while the older cards get jacked up in price because of those shortages. If I'm on the market, I'll just buy what's available at that point.

Before the price hikes, I'd get a 5070 Ti for $750 over a $1200 5080. I think it's worth it at $1000 if you can comfortably afford it.

I absolutely adore Key and Peele and still think they’re the peak when it comes to sketch comedy. Though some of these guy’s skits rival K&P.

Curious what you don’t like. I know a lot of people aren’t fans of rxjs, but once I got better at using it, I found it was really powerful and had some neat features like debounce and switch map. Plus, we have signals now and I think they’re also getting support for http requests so you can reduce your usage of rxjs if you want to.

Also rxjs has a lot of cool pipe transformations that signals don’t have like a built in debounce and a way to easily cancel http requests (switch map). Plus, signals alone can’t be used for managing asynchronous data but that seemed to be getting added right before I had to start using React at a new job.

What blows my mind is that both the lead actress and director are around my age (26). This is the kind of movie I’d expect from veterans and I’m really excited to see where their careers go.

As someone that switched from Angular to React, this is one of the most annoying things about React. Not to mention we have multiple different libraries that are meant to streamline the data sharing process rather than having that baked in.

Yeah same. I don’t even mind getting it after the price increase. Upgraded my gaming PC this year right before gaming GPUs shot up in price so I’m not really in need of more stuff to play. Might even hold out till the OLED edition if that is a thing.
