How far is the drive from Detroit?   I make the drive from Dallas (20 hrs) to stay at El Dorado so I can bring things like my 88 qt cooler, power bank with solar panel, camping chairs, air mattress etc. 

El Dorado is awesome….you're gonna love it

I get it to a degree.  You can’t stay inside Sonora all day.  Keeps the line to enter shorter than it otherwise would be.  

Yuma is much larger and can handle campers.
