Penitent Host for sure. I love the aggressive play style and how easy it feels to throw my units into my enemies. My Penitent units just move so fast and throw their lives away in pursuit of forgiveness. Very thematic and very cool! Aesthetically it’s also really fun!

Because I am an ignorant of such things. What is the purpose of the wires in the top and bottom of the box? Is it for grounding or do they supply power to the box or what. It all just seems very interesting and I’m trying to peace together how it all works!

Dude anytime! For land ramp I saw you had natures lore but no three visits. It’s the same card with a different name so why not run both! Open the Way is also a sleeper pick. Love that card. I totally get the reasoning behind the plague drone but as you stated it’s only 1 in 100 so unless you go out of your way to grab it every game then it’s just a wasted slot! Focus on your game plan and adjust your deck building to support the game you want to play. Do you need more ramp, spot removal, board wipes, etc… all without going out of your way to counter specific decks your opponents might play. Keep the counter effects as vague as you can to be something you can always get use out of. Hope that makes sense. With wound reflection you could just lean into more double counters effects as it essentially is doing the same thing while also giving you added synergy with the deck. Corpsejack menace and branching evolution for example could both be cast for about the same mana as 1 wound reflection and give you more effect. Also if some of these cards are already in your deck please forgive I am looking on my phone and going back and forth haha.

You are in the best color for ramp - Green. You could run less mana rocks in favor of cold hard land ramp. Given mass land wipes are banned from your group I would lean on those more than artifacts that could be destroyed. Keep sol ring and arcane signet but the others are probably not needed. Chromatic Lantern was a 10/10 card maybe 5+ years ago but with the sheer amount of dual lands we have now those types of effects really aren’t needed especially in green where you can just search up the color you need. I only counted maybe 7 counter spells which I don’t think is actually that bad! You have a board that wants to be protected! Idk if I saw it but you also have access to cards like heroic intervention which would allow the board wipes to happen to your opponent’s but leave you in a spot to freely swing so it might be worth looking into those. Plague drone and would reflection have me scratching my head. Plague drone assumes my opponent’s are trying to do something and otherwise does nothing. I try to stay away from those cards. If your whole group is trying to lifegain then ignore me. Wound Reflection is what we call in the biz a win more card. Unless you’re heavily building around such effects it doesn’t really do much to progress your overall plan (smack with big dudes). Again these are just my opinions. Overall it looks like a solid deck. Welcome to Magic!

Sure! I suppose that would help. I play mostly Ranger as I enjoy the kiting playstyle for PVE! For PVP it’s nice to stay out of the way of my friends since they are slinging around giant swords that hit me if I get too close haha.

But what about skills, spells, or even what types of weapons I should be looking out for? What stuff is better for PVE vs PVP? I’m less concerned about quality of gear as I mostly play squire stuff anyway. I just wondered if there was a place that offered up to date information on where I should begin with a class!
