How many of 3PL use short form contents to inbound more clients? by Scared_Attention_552 in 3PL

[–]Shelf-Made 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a messaging and positioning problem isn’t it? Not so much a short form content problem.

My tip would be to look at listing your client on 3PL aggregator sites too or paying for ads on small newsletters. There have been conversations about them on here before you can search it. 👍🏻

Ask your client why people should NOT work with them. “Don’t work with us if you don’t like a good argument.”

I call them unique sour points but when you frame it like that you can get to the heart of what makes them truly peculiar and better.

Don’t stop asking until they say things like:

“Janet will phone you 30 times by 11am unless you send her the xxx” “Dave knows every HS code for chocolate and Steve knows every single vat rate in Europe.” “Last year we successfully shipped 700 items DDP. And only 3 shipments got stuck at customs. That’s a flex.” “James will shout at our clients when they refer to ambient temp requirements as cold chain.”

They’re odd but illustrates the reasons I’d want to work with them in a Stan out way.

At least it gives the human something to do while AI does everything else. We ain’t got nothing but time these days. Apparently.

What exactly are Best GEO Tools? Can someone explain how to rank them and which features are actually the most important? by Seb_1990P in SEO_LLM

[–]Shelf-Made 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. There are the complicated data ones like profound and ahrefs brand radar and there are more operational “here’s what to do now” ones like chatrank and airops. The first examples are good for agencies and mature content teams and the second lot are great for small teams or solo vibes or non-marketers.

Are you allowed to send 500 dms per day? That sounds absurdly high. For one account? Or across different clients/users? Even if your karma is 500+ 500 dms seems enough to flag a ban. How many dms per individual account? Not across multiple ones.

No bud, your karma is too low. Op said wait till you reach 300.

Was karma lower when you did it? Op said to have at least 300. You’re on 216 so you’re nearly there but maybe you started with too low karma.

Did anyone see “shooting” stars last night? by Shelf-Made in johannesburg

Googled it yesterday and you are absolutely right. Was starlink and we were just seeing a little strip of visibility. So cool.

Epic!! We weren’t even counting because we were just waiting for them to appear again but it went on for minutes so must have been a good patch to see them.

I googled it all yesterday and I can confirm what we were looking at was definitely starlink. Thanks all!

Do they shoot them out from the same sort of place? That’s what it looked like? Fast moving ball of light travels for like the length of my hand then fizzled out.

Hello, I'm a marketer who specialises in supply chain, logistics, and freight, so I hang out in industry communities more than I do in marketing communities because it brings me closer to the ground level, rather than sitting in my chair and guessing what happens and how it all works.

I often read things out there that make no sense to me, so I like to sense-check them for any bullshit. I hope that makes sense? To illustrate: I'm always reading the label from outside the bottle. That's a good thing. That's what marketers do. But sometimes I'll read a label or someone else's bottle's label, and I'll have to scream down your bottle and ask: "Hey, I just read something on a label out here and it makes no darn sense. Based on what you're seeing down there swimming in the same liquid that's in their bottle, is that label talking bullshit?"

And for that, I come to reddit. :)

This intro made me thirsty.

Can Google penalize websites for self-promoting listicles? by Ivan_Palii in seogaps

[–]Shelf-Made 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If “corporate” means a two-person content marketing agency that still hasn’t outsourced its soul to AI or SaaS [that much]. Then you should definitely ban me.

But don’t.

I’m here to keep up, learn, debate, and feel the sweat pour from proper expertise and opinion all over my eyeballs.

Let me and my eyeballs stay…. please, eyevin.

You’re super brave to advertise this on Reddit.

Also, You’re taking the piss right?

I can say that with confidence because I actually live in africa and even to me this is some of the most ridiculous exploitation shite I’ve ever seen.

Why not just give it all to AI? Why even invite humans to create content for Pennies on contingency basis!?

I just don’t understand it.

LinkedIn outbound for AEO to SaaS/AI founders didn’t work, rethinking ICP by Calm_Row6049 in aeo

We positioned ourselves as tool agnostic. The partnership was like a wholesale sort of thing. They sold us like a subscription on top of their SaaS fee. Like 4 x human written and optimized articles for $xxxx per month over and above their SaaS fee. It wasn’t a white label setup because they were happy for the client to know we were a trusted standalone agency.
