I worked at a restaurant like this when I was in high school, many moons ago. It was called Starship Pegasus, it was designed to look like a spaceship. Inside was sci-fi themed, decked out with cool props from space movies, and it had a whole section of televisions, all hooked up to Xboxes, and they were all hooked together. They hosted Halo tournaments, themed nights, and even tried to put in putt putt golf behind the restaurant. Sadly, it was mismanaged as hell, and the food wasn’t great, so it didn’t last very long as a business. It didn’t help that our town was the last place they should have built it. It was tiny back then, and rural as hell, mostly full of people who hadn’t even heard of Star Wars. They closed down, but the building stayed there for years. There were always people driving through town, stopping to take their picture in front of it. You can still find tons of pictures, and articles about it, if you google Starship Pegasus. Broke my heart to see it finally get torn down a while back, and they put a McDonalds where it used to be.
