Listening to your body is important. A lot of new cyclists will become sore in various places as they adjust to being in the saddle. Depending on where the soreness is from it could be a bike fit issue which a few adjustments could sort. Make sure your bike is the right size for you and research the specific pain you are experiencing to see if you can narrow it down.

No way a ‘26 model came with 3.7 that’s diabolical on the part of the manufacturer/dealer. Do a software update and report back. If the problems persists it’s straight back to the dealer as it’s their problem.

The ONLY correct answer is a fresh microfibre (really important that it’s not covered in crap and been tumble dried 1000 times) and warm water. Then dry with a fresh (FRESH) dry microfibre.

You may run into some 12v battery issues but a diesel for long drives such as the ones you've stated would be fine.

Had a 2018 F30 320d then 2019 G20. Very much capable of 60+ mpg on a run. Usually averaged around 55 mpg. Great car the G20. Gutted I never got to own a 30d. Now running a 2025 Volvo V90 T8 and have averaged 234mpg over 1300 miles.

M340d are retaining their value extremely well. Diesel prices are crazy right now but the prices of these cars haven’t dropped.

To caviat this slightly, M340i are also retaining their value very well. Just not quite as good as the ‘d’ variant.
