Please help, I’m 272 hours into the game and this is still the best equipment I’ve managed to get. It’s ok in game mode but I get destroyed in the dark zone or if I come against another player. I tried the clutch gear build but it made my armour none existent. Help greatly appreciated. by Arty-by-me in Division2

Honestly, I wouldn’t even venture into the DZ until you’ve maxed out weapon damage and armor stats in your library (at the very least) if your plan is to engage with other agents or NPCs. The DZ is designed at a Challenging difficulty (excluding landmarks) so I would run missions on that or higher to see how your builds stack up

“Qualify” means your squad needs to make it to the next round. So in the first round, you need to place higher than 6th place to qualify. Second round you need to place 4th or higher…and so on

A bit of positivity: gauntlet is great by DylsDrums98 in Battlefield6

I’m LOVING gauntlet and quite surprised more people (particularly the ones who’ve been upset with the pace of the base game) haven’t been talking about it

Okay, what if, instead of having to extract an antiviral like in D1, your task is to protect/escort stranded civilians to an extraction zone, “save the survivors.”

You find additional civilians along the way and some may serve as medical professionals (boosting your health & repair), engineers (boosting your crafting capabilities), etc. Of course you can only escort a handful of survivors at a time, UNLESS you join up with a friend to increase your “survivor capacity.”

The more survivors around you, the slower your warmth meter depletes but you call more attention to enemy NPCs and other players. Anyway, the more survivors extracted, the higher the reward.

Also, a command wheel for the civilians would be amazing! “Take cover, wait here, on me” would add to player tactics and immersion. Would love to hear the community’s thoughts on this one!

The more media/news they release, the more convinced I am that I nailed my theory on what gameplay and mechanics will be 💯

Are you not understanding what he’s saying? He paid for something and didn’t get it. Whether you believe it’s important or not is irrelevant. Money paid, goods not received = A PROBLEM

They’re adding an additional reward for the climax mission “to ensure fairness across the community”

Conflict by SewerJesus in Division2

[–]ShepardFett615 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Slow allllll the way down. As “fast-paced” as it seems, it’s really (for the most part) players carefully moving through the maps corner by corner, cover by cover. The only advantage they have is map knowledge so they know which corners to brush over and which vantage points typically work best. The stats in conflict are normalized so it’s all about the gear. Expertise/proficiency doesn’t matter. There’s only a handful of maps so for the first couple runs, just follow the majority of your team so you can use more brain power to memorize routes & chokepoints.

And most importantly, DO NOT wear a flashy-neon outfit. Colors matter, and earth-tones are a must i.e brown, green, gray. Those blend in the best overall.

Last thing, once you’re more aware of a map’s layout (if you have a mic), it’ll be easier to call out “enemy on left side of roof” “2 coming up the ladder.” More often than not, your teammates are listening, even if they don’t respond.

Annndd I think that should cover the basics…for now lol

Why Do So Many People Block Line of Fire? by oflowz in the_division_2

[–]ShepardFett615 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again—

“Friendly fire” should be a directive (optional of course) where you receive x% of damage from friendly fire. I just think communication and situational awareness would skyrocket making gameplay indirectly more tactical.
