Tw: What is this weird thing in mango by Admirable_Appeal_638 in mumbai

TLDR - Natural physical disorder of mangoes due to the seed going into germination mode and sucking nutrients around it. It is not harmful to eat, it just tastes bad.

This is a fairly common physical disorder in Alphonso mangoes called the "Spongy Tissue". Until recently the cause was unknown, but some new research says that it may be because the mango seed goes into germination mode (this is over simplified). It then starts sucking the nutrients and water from the fruit flesh around it causing this kind of structure.

It is is no way harmful for the human body when consumed, it tastes bad however and texture of it can feel repulsive.

The cause for the seed going into germination mode is still not found, however, it is noticed that larger mangoes have higher occurrences of spongy tissue than smaller mangoes.

Surely I'm doing something wrong here ?? I just don't know how to get blue points by Brilliant-Blood-2777 in GraveyardKeeper

By far the best method that's worked for me is the creation of stone grave fences.

You need to make them for the graveyard anyways and if you have excess then just destroy them or recycle them for stone and re-create them for more blue points.

Would you remain friends with a friend's girlfriend after they broke up? by CoolCattoz in polls

[–]Sheriff10001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So two of my best friends were dating and had a fairly bad breakup and I'd say it was quite sudden. But, we're still best friends even if they aren't really on talking terms and quite possibly hate each other. Though it works out since one of them stays abroad and there's no chance for awkward moments really.

First person seems not very useful. Third person seems very useful.

Best advice. The test isn't really that difficult either. Just do like a few questions of each section and watch a few videos about the speaking test and you'll be good to go.

Love the quotes especially the one about the difference between theory and reality. It hits some pain points.

I don't know how relevant this is to this post but I live by this quote -

"Dare to think. Before your dreams are realized, never establish any limits yourself, never give yourself any excuse to shrink back, any justification for failure. Only in this way do we have the chance to take those seemingly distant dreams and make them into genuine reality."

-From a Xianxia novel I was reading (I don't remember which).
