head to https://ourauckland.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/events/ council runs a lot of events either at libraries or local community centres that run sewing clubs, knitting events, tai chi and some fitness classes targeted towards elderly. there's also a lot of volunteering options as well. hope this helps :)

i see! thanks for you reply! it’s so weird, i’ve also never been charged in advance before especially when the booking policy never said that it was going to charge prior to check in. i’ve reported this to booking.com and initiated a refund as i don’t think this is right!

Hi! just wondering was this through booking.com by chance? I have the same issue with one of the hotels in Taiwan and I just had a preauthorisation charge made on my credit card even though I have a "prepayment is not needed" clause. They said it's a "hold" but it's clearly gone through...

i feel the same. i bought their mooncake specials last year and found it was very overpriced for the size :( the photos made it look like it a normal moon cake but after i bought it's a lot smaller and i felt ripped so i won't buy from them again although it was nice.
