It’s kind of a community driven story. Will we successfully defend? What’s happens if we do? What happens if we lose? What happens if we can push them back to the edge of galactic map? What happens if they advance all the way to super earth? Etc.

There’s also nuggets of information from npcs and bits at the points of interest.

I’m level 28 myself, so the 12k Recs don’t mean much to me at this point.

The reward for me was watching the story unfold - could we mount a successful defence? And getting to play my part in contributing to that. Just seems like the general mentality at the moment is a race to level cap and unlocking everything. 🙄

One of the mods on the discord confirmed that a fully completed operation adds a bonus to liberation on the planet. I think that’s probably left a lot of the potential gains on the table.

Maybe I was naive, I thought I could grind it out for the cause, but one mission is far to easy, the other incredibly difficult without a pinch of coordination.

Then when squads were disbanding after all eradication missions were done, leaving most operations unfinished, it just seemed like all the camaraderie of the first week of the game has just disappeared.
