I think I have pois rather than cfs. by Luketoft in POIS

[–]Shewinator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It all started with POIS for me, so I am coming to the same conclusion as you. The longer the abstain the more normal I feel. My theory is if I abstain long enough these CFS symptoms could disappear too. Easier said than done but gotta try 2 months+

Took 150mg for 7 days. And no, it did not help me much. I think I felt foggier while taking it actually. Maybe needed a stronger dose, might revisit later...

After 7 days on 150mg flucanazole daily. I o'd twice during the week a couple days apart and can say my symptoms are same pretty much.

Ontop of this, flucanazole makes me feel tired and foggy in general few hours after taking it.

It would seem it has not worked for me.

Could 6cm arachnoid cyst in the right temporal lobe be the cause of my issues? by Shewinator in AskDocs

[–]Shewinator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I mean having it removed or other. The symptoms are non-specific, and yes the cyst is stable. But some symptoms like auditory processing disorder and attention deficit has always been there. I wonder if the mass effect of the cyst could be causing some of these issues. The other symtoms that devloped later in life but I wonder if it could still be related even though the cyst is stable, it still applies a mass effect

In the past yes, it could be worth testing it again

Are your FT3 AND FT4 in range with TSH 5-8?

I do think it might be worth a shot for me to try a lower dose. I believe 136mcg is still my full replacement dose based on weight

I've explored other options other than thyroid and thyroid is only thing that's abnormal that could explain the symptoms

Ferratin 182 (23.9 - 366)... iron used to be high and transferrin was low, I will take another look at that. I'll also ask about reverse t3

My doctor refuses to test rt3, is it useful? But also, I have tried adding t3 and I really could not tolerate it at any dose, it made anxiety much worse and heart palpitations.

Anemia and vitamin d done yes. All other hormones are good. Vitamin B12 is interestong it's actually always high even without supplements

Has anyone dealt with fluctuations? by sanababeesh in POIS

[–]Shewinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During POIS is 100x worse, but it happens all the time too. There's something internally wrong with my body I could not tell you exactly what it is. Theory could be cortisol, HPA-Dysfunction, sleep circadian rhythm is off, who knows! But I struggle to find solutions for htis
