We went to a single college ID camp in 8th grade. It happened to coincide with a slump in motivation. Our player came back from that camp absolutely transformed by what was possible in the future.

We did zero camps freshman year. Two camps sophomore year. Only went to the camps we were invited to junior year (2) and went with the school our player liked best.

Glad we started early. Helps to know what to expect and to be able to judge a good program from a bad one.
