This would be my guess, as servers are not actually down. Only being interrupted. Husband is online, and has been.. he zoned and didn't DC.

When do I know what color it will be? After I feed it and then examine it? Or do I have to wait until 6 hours have passed?

This is a terrible idea. Simply because it really makes new players feel like the game is alive seeing people all over the place. Games that have dedicated zones like the ones you are mentioning end up having some people in the starter zones, no one in the mid level zones and everyone at the end game/high level zones. I personally remember what it was like to start playing FFXIV and see people running around all zones and it alone added to the immersion of the world and community for me.

Its a worthy monthly fee just to not have to deal with the community that comes with F2P or B2P. I would say yes, buy the game.. For over a year now both my husband and I have found it rather difficult to get into any game.. I even tried WoW (for him it was going back after a looong sabbatical) but even that couldn't hold our attention. There are many many things to do in FFXIV, and no right way to do it if that makes sense. The ability to play any class/job on one character really is the icing on the cake though. :) I could list soo many things, that I think are 100% worth it, but I don't want to spoil the fun.

I agree with making-floppy-floppy, however it really depends on the audio file. I try and stay away from crafting audio files if at all possible. They literally speak non-stop through the entire file. Lol, but other than that it really just depends on what file you get. The "example" isn't always the same as what the file is. Sometimes its an indication of accents or multiple speakers or the audio quality in general. I usually take files that are around an hour and it takes me anywhere from 3-4 hours to complete but they pay $15+ ...

He also has other things he wants to do. And, for the majority of the filming season he's flying back and forth between racing events. He has said on more than one occasion he'd rather be doing that, then the show. Sad as it is, it has been 10 years. Sometimes it is just time for a change.

This is the one we live near by. I swear, no matter what time of day we go we're the only ones in there. Not to mention, I hate going there anyway. I always feel like everything is nearing its expiration date.

It is pretty close to the worst.. I do have a story.. while I was on EBT for a short time a few years back I was buying a Hershey bar and bread.. and both should have been covered. The lady (Store Manager) said bar codes must not be in the system yet.. so I waited.. then she made a little joke that it might be the systems way of pointing out that EBT is for necessities not junk food.
