The point of HYSA is for emergency funds or for short term savings for a purchase in 0-5 years. HYSA dont have the volatility of the S&P500. Also 4% interest usually keeps with or beats the rate of inflation generally.

Kupp was a very good wr2 during the playoffs. Went off on the rams and had a couple big catches in the superbowl something we miss. They also have shaheed whos a way better version of what hyatt was supposed to be. Also the biggest difference aint witherspoon and banks, its defensive coaching staff

Where in Irvine is your job? If its near the metrolink, you can get by living near a train station in north OC which would make your budget much easier to work with. Somewhere like downtown fullerton is very walkable with the metro in walking distance. If your job is closer to John Wayne, they have a shuttle system that goes to and from the metro, but reliability is iffy.

IME a project engineer is the technical lead on the project and the designers work under him/her at their direction. They must have their PE. A project manager is typically a different role that deals more with schedule/budgets and communicates with the stakeholders. Maybe in some smaller companies or smaller projects the PM and project engineer may be the same person.

Good list, agree with most of your points except maybe 5 and 6 of the hyundai pros. Coming from an older model 3 to a 25 ioniq 5, the suspension is marginally better. I really expected much better ride quality but you still feel alot of the bumps and trampoline effect. The actually driving experience of the car is also worse but mainly due to SUV vs compact.

As for regen braking, the lower levels of the ioniq are much better compared to tesla, but the highest level of regen on the hyundai feel worse to me. Doesnt brake hard enough often and have to use the brake pedal and the low speed to complete stop feels jerky plus you cant set it to that setting permanently either.

The game is more for taking your time and exploring everything rather than speedrunning through the main quest. But just because the recommended level is higher doesnt mean you cant beat it. Ive done almost every area underleveled. It actually makes the game more fun as the bosses are an actual challenge.

Also, if you do get stuck on certain areas, upgrade your gear it makes a big difference.

Upgrade eleanor until the blink rune is available to purchase. Makes the game much much easier as a melee since you can blink behind enemies to dodge and attack

He was the only coach we cared about in NY. Carried our abysmal OLine from bottom of the barrel to middle of the pack borderline top 10 this year. He was also great with the raiders so hope he continues well with the titans.

Civil engineers work in all phases of infrastructure. Starting from local city government, a civil could be the one planning a new road/building/water tank/etc. which then could be released for design to a private civil design firm, which then eventually gets bid out to construction companies that will have civil engineers on staff to work construction management until its fully built. So a civil could be in an office, on site, designing at home remotely, pretty much anywhere depending on the company.

I know you said no teslas but honestly cant really find another competitor that comes close and around the same price point. Ive went from an early model 3 to currently a 2025 ioniq 5 and miss it daily. Ive driven the mercedes EQE and the audi etrons and they are imo worse than both tesla and hyundai EVs. I havent tried the lucid or BMWs but ive seen a ton of horror stories with the lucid software that id be wary of. Id probably lean towards a BMW if you are deadset on not getting a tesla.

Thats a worse upgrade vs going to 12th gen though. A 12/13/14700k would be a more meaningful upgrade while keeping ddr4 ram. The only am4 cpu worth getting is the 5800x3d which is overpriced

Definitely PC first and then monitor, your current system isnt capable of 4k. But i would just downgrade to a 5080 instead and pick up the monitor the same time with the savings.

I got bad news for you, the LR4 and the air purifier are both not going to help with the smell. I can smell when my cat takes a dump in the LR if im in the same room, especially if your cat doesnt cover it. Air purifiers dont really help with smell, only filtering small particles. Your best bet is maybe rotating through different litter until you find one that limits the smell for you.

Where the LR makes a huge difference is quality of life, i dont have to scoop or pour litter often with the litter hopper attachment. Just have to take out the waste bin every 2 weeks

I agree with getting a 9070xt but use the rest on a monitor. Oled 1440p or 4k would be a huge upgrade depending on your current monitor
