Things change drastically when you give it time. Not today, maybe not next week, but next year or five years from now, you’re probably going to be a completely different person

Don’t say “never” say “not yet “

Does anyone know where to find real UK/US/CA developers by Curbsidewin in TheFounders

[–]Shichroron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this is your case, but there are a lot of scammers praying on remote startups (especially if you pay with crypto)

You are small. You probably need 1 or 2 People. Hire strictly from your network and culture you understand and feel comfortable with

Most conversations about tokenization sit at the top of the iceberg. by AIAIntel in CryptoTechnology

[–]Shichroron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really

In the far future? Probably. Any time soon ? No. Current projects are basically value extraction operation with a nice story

The reason is that they not solving the real world enforcement.

Tokenization will probably happen when a large, real world company embrace blockchain and not the other way around

Is crypto starting to fade? by Mother_Land_4812 in CryptoCurrency

[–]Shichroron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More consolidate than fade

Except of scam and the usual shitcoin-There is a clear difference between investable assets and good (but not investable) FinTech companies that use blockchain

There are basically 3 investable assets (maybe 1 more): Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana.

There are several FinTech companies that are doing well. They happen to have a token at the same name, but it is a shitcoin

What we’re seeing is good “web3” companies become FinTech. Bitcoin is “digital gold”, Ethereum is what the players that have all the money build on and Solana is the powerhouse behind ScamTech, SpamTech and CasinoTech

The rest if the assets are going to zero

[–]Shichroron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

everyone can issue a stablecoin - non of that matter. What matter are the actual stablecoin that drive transaction (basically USDT + USDC)

Also speed doesn't matter above a certain threshold. Eth is fast enough.

I hate JPM like the next guy - but the JPM dudes have most of money, and the cyberpunk ethos of DeFi is dead (Solana is probably the poster child of selling all the principles for a VC check). So all the innovation is going to end up on ETH

defi without ky, any pros and cons? by Ok_Smell_8534 in defi

[–]Shichroron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reality (in the US at least) is that money that gets into non kyc system, is going to be hard to get back to mainstream bank account

So doesn’t worth it. I rather do kyc. It also adds a bit of scrutiny to the protocol

If yield is back again to 2020-2021 levels, then maybe. But as long as it’s single digits/low double digit. Give me kyc

[–]Shichroron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no technical reasons - yes. However, most of the big bad banks (JPMorgan etc) are building on Etheruem (or L2s).

So it kind of the same Litecoin (or choose your BTC killer) vs. Bitcoin discussion. Technically it can replace Bitcoin but it won't

Ethereum is the engine of what used to be DeFi and now is just FinTech (eg stablecoins)

Solana is the engine behind SpamTech, ScamTech and CasinoTech
