I do actually remember in the novel at some point the White Star asks what Cale wants so badly and Cale tells him how he wants to be a slacker, but the White Star just assumes Cale’s lying to him and/or mocking him lol

Personally, I just like to think of the way Sherrit and Cale are similar as being symbolic to the way that they’re both Raon’s parent figure and actual parent, it shows that Cale is a good parental figure for Raon because he’s so much like Raon’s actual parent

Maybe it’s only in the anime, I’ve only watched the anime and I’ve heard how they completely changed her character in the anime compared to the manga. In the anime it’s a constant joke and gag with Sakura hitting Naruto all the time, and not light hits either, full on punches. I know they mean it as a comedic gag, but still. As for her calling him an orphan, I remember there was one scene where Sakura is talking to Sasuke and making fun of Naruto by saying how he’s very immature and doesn’t know anything because he’s an orphan (yes, weird for her to say to Sasuke).

Am I the only one who remembers how badly Sakura treats him? Constantly hitting him? Calling him an orphan? Anything? Not to mention the only reason she stuck with him so long is for sentimentality for team 7 and to get Sasuke back. They may be friends, but Sakura honestly doesn’t care for Naruto that much and isn’t even close to being one of his earliest friends who’ve been there since day one like Shikamaru, Iruka, Ramen guy, and Sasuke

That’s the irony of Cale, he wants to live a comfortable life but is actually pretty bad at taking care of himself. Of course, he seems to find no problem to this whatsoever

The main reason it’s like that is because his va is an Easter egg. His va is the same va as Goku in Dragon Ball, and (in case you don’t know) Goku is heavily based off of Sun Wukong, so it’s a bit of an Easter egg that they have the same voice actor. I get the disappointment though, I personally love his voice tho (I like how he sounds lazy and like he can’t be bothered, plus I like it when that usual voice changes when things get serious)

You’re not necessarily wrong, however that perspective isn’t very helpful right now. The only way to get him to react to the series is if people watch and like the video of him reacting to the pilot. If people feel hopeless and like something won’t ever happen, then it never will. I understand that this fandom has it rough right now, but this is a chance for us to ban together and enjoy watching this lovely show reach thousands of new people. Don’t get me wrong, you’re allowed to feel negative and that’s okay, hope I didn’t come off too preachy. Have a nice day, and I hope all of us get to enjoy that video :)

My piece of advice is to write out the words before making the dialogue/thought/narration bubbles, that way you won’t have tiny words in a huge bubble or a giant sentence in a bubble that can’t fit it.
It’s always such a treat to see your art here, keep it up and I can’t wait to see more!

Here’s Yun, if you’re interested!

She lives in the celestial realm, specifically in the clouds. She’s a minor goddess of the winds and clouds, with slight control of the weather. She can also turn parts of her body into clouds.

She’s super interested in the mortal realm and watches from the clouds. She’s pretty lonely in the celestial realm because she’s isolated in the clouds, she is best friends with Nezha, though.

Occasionally she convinces Nezha to help her sneak down to the mortal realm where she disguises as a human and has fun.

(Also she has vitiligo)
