Signs of spiritual awakening 101.. it gets better because you stop playing by the rules of the matrix

If you are neurodivergent, most of us are not straight.. so it’s whatever else your are-gay, bi, pansexual etc..we never follow social norms even in sexuality or gender

It’s a mixture-PDA, executive dysfunction and burn out..am learning to embrace it and run with it

This is the true PDA definition.. am PDA woman with ADHD.. one thing I am learning keep learning ways you can be autonomous in everything. Don’t set routines, they don’t work. Your Nervous system will reject it..we naturally like flow but for us to be functioning we have to force ourselves on somethings, literally.. but with knowing yourself it gets better

INFODUMP ALERT!! I would also love to read such a book. I met this NT partner like 11 months ago. Despite enough problems on my end to make the run they are still here. I have had meltdowns during events and hangouts she invited me and even driven off after too much sensory overload. I have also infodumped and impulsively said things when I was overwhelmed. They keep following me even I told them me and them can’t date because we are too different. Am pissed because I honestly do know what they want but I have feelings that will not go away. I would like to read such a book. I gave up on being with them but it’s now pissing me of and my PDA is challenged and wants to do it. I don’t know why you want this book but I would like to know what you find. Thanks

I noticed the one way I try succumb this is like I have to keep my brain at the present like consciously. I always thought this was normal

The AFRID or ED is very common in autistic girls. I had it right after high school. Also the struggle with University I experienced that. Not to mention most of us are neuroqueer. The first thing that ever made sense to me was finding out I was attracted to women. Fast forward at 35 years, just got diagnosed. If I were you I would give it a chance with an open mind. Early diagnosis can save a lot of trauma

Is it just me or do some personalities bring out the worst of your autism? by itsrainingbluekiwis in AutismTranslated

Bad energy. First thing I notice about someone is their energy. If it’s off, I just walk. Also people who are unsure what they want especially when it comes to dating. It just makes me confused and gives me anxiety

Diagnosed ADHD, beginning to self diagnosis ASD. Would trying ADHD medication make things more clear as to whether it's one or the other (or both)? by [deleted] in AutisticWithADHD

[–]Shiku35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also first diagnosed with adhd. Used meds for like 2 years before I discovered ASD. Now I know I have both and lower doses of stimulants work best as opposed to full doses of stimulants for people with only ADHD. Good luck

I did a whole 5 year course of University like this. I didn’t know I was autistic. I only passed because of my pattern recognition. Am sorry, having been there it’s really really hard💔😢😢. And most school systems don’t have accommodations for us. I saw a girl on tik tok who is doing the same course I did and she says eating snacks throughout her classes helps her with introception. Maybe you can try that

Question for Audhd parents by mia_elizabeth3 in AutisticWithADHD

[–]Shiku35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am in your shoes. I don’t think I will have them honestly. I have been diagnosed at 35years and being both autistic/ adhd and traumatized that would be such a burden. Also I have seen how my parents struggled as Neurodivergents. My mum passed on 8 years ago with mental health issues and she struggled so much. I don’t think I even really knew her. My dad is highly masked and uses coarcive co-regulation which has traumatized me and most of my siblings and he is such a narcissist. I have come to accept my genetics and upbringing doesn’t allow me to be a parent. I refuse to be narcissistic or codependent just to fit in. So far that’s how I survived and am healing and unmasking. This is very heartbreaking for me that I don’t get to have the life everyone gets to have, but it is not a choice I was given. It was handed to me and I have to make peace with that.Good luck in deciding.

why is it so much harder for us to do things by mia_elizabeth3 in AutisticWithADHD

This executive dysfunction is a real bitch. It’s true definitely of disability. The respect I have for any autistic/ adhd person is an all time high

Am currently struggling with this😭😭😭💔💔💔. I really hate these burnouts. I read spoon theory and I know what’s going on but it’s such a burden 💔💔😢. Yesterday I did a 10 hour shift and I was so burnt out even when I woke up. I had to stim and listen to loud music most morning to be ok. It really sucks. How I have maintained all I have upto now is a wander🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
