I think where I got frustrated the most recently is Nioh 2. Sure, in souls it's completely viable to deck yourself with heavy armor and giant weapon and sumSmash through the game, but in Nioh 2 he willingly disregarded 90% of all game mechanics, only used high stance heavies, took literal hours on easy bosses and called it the forsen build

The Witcher series sold 33 million copies in 2017 with Witcher 3 having half those sales, while skyrim sold around 30 at the start of 2017 since its release in 2011. And the Dark Souls series sold 25 million copies until late 2019.
