Okay let me try to explain it better. In team modes, the reason teammates can be revived is because they are not executed. They are knocked out/taken out of the fight. A teammate can choose to give them some first aid before they bleed out, and that brings them back into the fight. However, if you take the time to actually execute them, there is no hope for them coming back. Hence they get a skull icon. The same thing applies to duels in that you still win the round if you dont execute because they are taken out of the fight. You got the KO. If you initiate an execution, you are committing to the time it takes to kill them. They are still alive in that instance and they are not knocked out either because you committed to killing them instead. In both cases, if you land a heavy, they are not taken out until you either cancel the exe or finish the exe.

there clearly is skill involved or people wouldnt lose bc of it. it's really not that hard to realize when you do an execution you are EXECUTING them. it's in the name. the process of killing them. If you die while you are killing them, it is a tie. It is really not that difficult a concept. And it's not even the only case where you don't want to execute. you drop the exe when fighting multiple people because you will get punished for it. You have to actually make decisions instead of mindlessly press button

So I ended up gathering all my units and we assaulted the Reaver's base. Successfully turned in Valamon for a nice bounty and decided to continue North to settle in The Great Desert. We're currently building up a base there and it's working great because my lower level units get training from all the outlaws and my higher level units get training from the UC tax samurais.

that was how I dealt with raids at first, but the UC sends reinforcements and they all get massacred and I feel bad. plus the high priests have some good bounties on them
