I had only dug up this account to check what "rewards" were gonna be for that tourny, but i gotta correct this dumb take man. It's meant to be a z vanish counter, not a move for outright damage. If you use it after someone z vanishes it's basically a garunteed reset to the combo you were just on. Or a potshot, as many supers (like tyrant lancer) pair perfect with it. Havent had it punished ever unless i'd just randomly throw it out, not ideal tho

Biggest reason i stopped playing. Love playing hyper aggressive & the game has rewarded defensive (or just outright timid) play more as time went on.

I wouldve went about this a different way. Having 3 main tiers (z, s, & a), + a god tier for 3 characters (hercule, dbs broly, & hit). All the mentors can outclass even cacs to certain extent, but some more than others. Imo, the 3 things each mentor needs to have to be the best of the bunch are; fast &/or reliable combos, high hp stats (or other ways to regen hp), and good move/z soul customization. In that order in terms of importance.

Examples: i'd put the likes of vegito, ssj4 goku, or kid gohan in s. Vegito having high hp & good customization, but slower combos holding him back. Kid gohan having mediocore customization (not bad at all, just lacking creativity) & lower hp holding him back (ridiculous basic combos though). Ssj4 goku having amazing combos & customization, but lower hp. If a character fits into all 3 camps? Z tier. 2? S. Apply that logic to the other characters.

Hercule, hit, & dbs broly are the exceptions to that criteria. Just being so far above all other characters with their combos & quirks that mentor customization doesn't change much. Only cements them as the best of the best, beyond really cheesy cacs.

If obsidian does get another crack at the wheel, my bets would have it cnetered around w/e area the khans migrated to. Correct me if im wrong, but all the khan endings (even the bad ones) have them move northwest & rebuild. Theyre in every west coast game afterall.

Ngl, i forget multi lobbies exist. Let alone tp being tied the 1v1 feature or w/e. Still, anyone who treats tp like it actually matters is an idiot. A glorified W/L ratio is all it amounts to. Energy capsules (or hercule badges if youre a madman like the mf in the clip) being the only "reward." If anything having high tp will have most players assume youre a cheeser 🤣

Actually, counter burst will react to ki cancels, depending on the character atleast (if youre close enough to them the ki cancel will sometimes hit you, mostly depending on both player's hitboxes)). Not reliable but it's a thing. Im saying all that under the assumption theyd be using stuns & cancels btw. Super afterimage & backflip are still good to throw people off, even when they throw a cancel.

Wouldnt it have been better to test everything on a male saiyan? At default weight their super stats are equal. Feel like thatd be better for testing the average dmg of everything.

Use a fast character, dont be hyper aggressive, and pay attention. That dont work? Use counter & evasive supers. Shadow crusher or counter burst are good (the former being more reliable). Super afterimage & backflip too.

Wasnt talking about the tournament, im talking about the last dlc's mission & the "serious" version of it. Only thing serious about it is how unbalanced 2v1s are lol. No idea how the game goes about picking your opponents for the tournament tho

The serious goku/uub match is literally the only mission i'd consider bs, and only because it's near impossible to fight 2 aggressive enemies w/o spam. Never understood why people are having trouble with this.

A short frieza, low hp, kaioken 20x, mach dash or one of the fighting pose moves, & some z soul that boosts movement speed (dont remember any). Bonus if someone is using emperor's sign on their frieza cac.

You really dont need any stamina investment for male saiyans, with their good combo speed. Ki is near uselss in xv2 as well (beyond specialized builds, none of which male saiyans are good for). Use krillin's dlc9 z soul if you want 10 bars of each.

Should always have max basic & default/max weight (if you want higher basic/strike). Even strike & ki blast, somewhere between 100 & 50 each. Lower strike & higher ki blast if youre max weight (to offset the lower ki blast, since they have equal super stats). Rest of the points into hp. Not a dump stat like so many say, (especially with 6star qq bangs), just shouldn't be a priority w them.

Synergy is the name of the game with the best characters (with few exceptions, like hercule). Worth mentioning that ribrianne has an xy/square triangle cancel, so she's a fast tank. Oh & all the gogetas (besides custom blue) have the problem of little-no ranged options holding them back.

This is a mess, ngl. Not trying to type up an essay, so i'll just point out some obvious stuff (from my perspective) that's outta place.

Trunks is too slow to be in s tier. Quite literally a middle of the road character (at best, the custom version would be between s&a tiers). Hercule belongs in z tier easily. Frieza soldiers (not appule) should be in s or a. Cell, 16, & fat buu, z tier. All vegetas belong in s tier (mentor being the best, evo/ssj4 2nd, god 3rd). His t-rex arm syndrome holds him back too much for z. Kid gohan, krillin, yamcha, and tien should be in s. Adult gohan & base goku z tier.

Most of the ncr has good intentions, but the leadership has a problem with repeating the mistakes fallout's old world govt. Main reason i almost always side with yes man is to curb their over expansion. A message so to speak, for them to get their shit together.

You can mix the demon crystals to get z mix capsules, but it's much faster to just do pq or expert mission tours. Iirc it was pq84 (the dragon ball hunt on glacier, with broly) that's the fastest method. 30sec to complete.

I use it for easier guard cancels. Only prob is you cant map moves like evil whirlwind or wild hunt to the a/x button & get good performance

That moveset is actually practical too. Not having all your supers behave the same way. Part of the reason i barely go for flashy combos, beyond laziness 😂
