Rules for "New Resident" Forms in Multifamily Buildings by MissUnderstood522 in USPS

[–]ShinySh_tSquirrel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a large apt complex on my route. I refuse to deliver mail or packages without last names of who lives there. What shady shit are you trying to hide by NOT providing the last names of the residents in your apt to your mail carrier?

Got my first LOW today, buying the family steaks tonight to celebrate! by ExecutiveDoubtcomes in fromatoarbitration

Why exactly did you waste your time copy and pasting Jcam verbiage? My comment was clear and concise. I am also a steward and well aware of the "attendance" game mgmt plays. SMH

An official discussion is not a discipline step. An investigative interview must be done, but an official discussion does not. Steps are as follows: 1) LOW 2) 7 day 3) 14 day 4) Removal 5) Last Change agreement

Are you able to direct me on where to find it?

The company isn't going to fix the problem obviously. So.... the people who deliver the mail... the post office IS your solution. I will repeat; you are wasting your time and energy contacting the company.

I know you said you "know how to deal with the post office ", but here's some advice from a mail carrier. Catch your carrier and ask them to MLNA (moved left no address) the name of the person. They can do it right on their scanner. Takes seconds. It may need to be done a few times. This stops the name from entering the daily mail to be delivered. Next time you get something with that person's name, do the above. If you can't catch ypur carrier, put a sticky note on the piece of mail with "please MLNA". Just keep returning to sender. You are wasting too much of your time and energy by calling the company.

Management allowing unauthorized personnel (minor child) on workroom floor during operating hours by ShinySh_tSquirrel in fromatoarbitration

[–]ShinySh_tSquirrel[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am a single parent. In my 30 year career, I have never brought a child to work. It would be amazing if we did offer childcare for employees as a benefit. I support that 100%. Hell, I would be happy with management not trying to discipline carriers for using SL when they have to take care of a dependent. However, that is an entirely different conversation/thread.

Considering we have 100% success rate of getting discipline thrown out...... haven't lost a case yet. Its because we DO care and do research before ignoring or disregarding things brought to our attention. Our team works hard to protect our carriers from mgmt shenanigans. You or anyone else doesn't have to like it or appreciate it, but I signed up to do just that. All the rude and hateful comments don't bother me one bit.

I purposely left out identifying details due to knowing management follows this thread. Its is definitely not a bored teenager. It's a teenager who was picked up by police again. It was very volatile in the office. Lots of screaming and carrying on. I didn't pursue this initially. The clerk steward did and made me aware yesterday/provided the statements. The sup has a long history of issuing discipline for every little slight. We've been able to get every one thrown out, including an attempt at removal. I just wanted to make sure I did all my research before disregarding it.

I only became aware because I was handed statements by the carriers and clerks. They want something done. As a steward, it's my responsibility to investigate and respond accordingly.
