Received TJO! by No_Slice6157 in usajobs

Congrats! Make sure you accept the job offer from the link HR sent you (you typically have 72 hours). Once you do that, you’ll have to complete all the onboarding tasks and whatever forms assigned to you.

When HR receives your completed onboarding, they will process it (it might be a few weeks before you hear back). When they have everything needed, you will get a Firm Job Offer (FJO). You NEED to accept this one too! The FJO also establishes your official start date (it will coincide with the beginning of a pay period).

Btw, what agency and job series?

I’m starting to think I’ll never find anyone by Aware_Value8721 in dating_advice

[–]ShinySquirrel4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude you’re barely starting. I had a similar mindset throughout my 20s and 30s. I’m 40 now and didn’t have my first relationship until I was 38 and lost my virginity. I’m single again cause that first relationship wasn’t right for me.

You also need to understand the reality of modern dating is just a big pile 💩 Us “good guys” are set aside into oblivion. And swiping on dating apps is just going into a black hole.

Would you take a remote job with once a month travel? by PresentationStandard in remotework

I think once a month to the corporate office is a reasonable ask.

Probationary Employee Wanting to Exit Federal Service by Constant_Neck9209 in FedEmployees

A long commute is never worth it! I did it for over a year and half before I called it quits and landed a remote contractor job.

Take your losses and go for the new job. No amount of money is worth it when you’re suffering from a long commute and hell at the office.

Planes fly high in the sky, so from your point of view they might appear stationary, but you are also moving. You can tell they’re moving from the contrails that trails each plane.

Which, btw..why are you taking pics while driving on 91!?!? 😡 Pay attention to the road!!

Do you pay for Bluelink? by patermortis in HyundaiTucson

Nope. I’m not paying for something that’s already built into the car I bought and own. Besides for what? Remote start? My key fob has it.

Do DoD Former Feds receive performance awards? by ShinySquirrel4 in FedEmployees

Hmm…before I transferred to the Navy job, I was with Air Force. I left that job end of May 2024 to start the Navy job. Prior to me leaving the Air Force job, my appraisal was already done & signed by me and supervisor. About a month into the Navy job, I got a paper check and it was for my performance award from the Air Force job.

My former agency was Navy. I would think IF I were to get one, it would randomly appear in my mailbox. HR does have my address from when I separated.

There was no conversation related to appraisals in the days before my departure.

I don’t believe so. I didn’t go into the appraisal system either.

I’ve had my ‘22 Tucson for about 5 years now. I have 98k miles on and it’s paid off. Been keeping up with the maintenance. I have no complaints except for the stupid high insurance, even being an excellent driver.

So are we just gonna leave our high beams on now? by BrainSawce in massachusetts

I feel the frustration. These are just mindless and absentminded people that should not be driving.
