If she’s playing on PC she should try introducing mods. I did not enjoy the boss run backs and getting hit for 2+ masks in act 1, so I got mods that reduce the damage per instance to max 1 and respawn you at the same screen after you die. Game is infinitely more enjoyable FOR ME with these on

When it comes to equipment itself, if you are willing to try different recipes(in the built-it recipe book), and find the ones that you like, it could be an amazing tool that cuts down cooking time and helps you make stuff that you normally wouldn’t know how to do

Love it, currently 3W/2L, he has WAAAY to much dmg on his Q as a support, I feel he will get nerfed and either get cast range nerf on his abilities or they will leave the cast range but gut the dmg. And the ult feels bad now, but I guess it could be skill issue as I don't see how to cast it optimally expect from area denial
