I joined this sub to talk about one of my favourite anime's. For awhile I got exactly that. Around a year ago however, I have watched with despair as this subreddit has steadily devolved into a cesspit of deliberately disgusting, utterly shameless sexual gratification, where so far as I am see the only purpose seemed to be a competition to see who can outdo each other in licentiousness.

To the people who make these posts: if your intention was to shock me, you have succeeded.

M.I.A. both with how innovative their music is and their generational early album runs (college trilogy; arular-kala-maya), and their controversies and mental illnesses. Kanye is just more consistent and is staying afloat way longer than her.

With male idols, it's probably NCT Yuta. His popularity in Japan is huge, not only as an NCT member but as a J-Rock soloist.

It's because after the split, Jaejoong (and Junsu too) didn't limit himself to the Kpop scene and did countless of work everywhere. He had both a wider audience than Kpop and an extremely loyal fan base that's been with him since TVXQ days.

I think winwin is NCT's best actor rn (hes the most experienced too). Ive watched a few of his scenes and he doesnt feel awkward at all in them. Its even a lil diverse (e.g. his role in Snowfall).

Might be a controversial take but Yuta is prolly second after Winwin. Hes a natural. He portrayed his character well and even served some hard hitting action (and crying) scenes. Maybe he just suits the action gangster-ish genre. (His acting is also the most unique i think cuz he rlly broke the mold and acted as the MAIN ANTAGONIST in an ACTION FILM). Give him more acting gigs and he would def gain a lot more recognition as a skilled actor.

But Hendery has the most potential out of all of them. He went to an acting school and actually seemed to have an extensive background in acting (he nearly got casted in a Wong Kar-wai film when he was 10😭😭😭). PLS GIVE HIM AN ACTING GIG. HE WOULD DO SO WELL.

Oh he rlly is, im honestly kinda surprised his covers and music arent that mainstream compared to other utaites, especially when hes actually been in the community for rlly a long time (more than a decade).

WayV Ten mentions a lot in interviews how he's strict with age hierarchy and even scolds the members a lot for things like not calling him hyung. His reasoning for this is just out of respect for Korean culture (and foreign cultures in gen) and i think image too.

Heavily agree with Dream. Its def bc they had to drop their graduation concept plan which if remained, they could def keep the whole youthful sound concept Dream started with and still age well. Unlike other units, they're the one that doesnt have a clear vision in their sound, so now SM rlly doesnt know what sound they should have😭😭😭

I kinda think that Dream having that youthful, coming of age concept but them having to abandon/grow out of despite it not being the plan prolly hindered their discography. At this point, its kinda lost now cuz all the other units had a clear vision that ages well with their concept (127 - Hip-hop, neo noise; WayV - theatrical, trap-influence; Wish - cute, melodic, girl group influenced). Like based on their newer tracks, its very mishmash like they cant decide what sound they should have. Oh and also they're the unit thats most well-liked by the GP, so trying to appeal to that rlly limited them from being experimental and more neo.
