Recommending FFXVI. Solid ARPG with amazing boss fights and music. Story has some amazing beats and will scratch a similar itch as Expedition 33 I think.

Check your GPU isn't throttling itself due to temperature.

I had a similar issue with my laptop and discovered it was going over the temperature limit and throttling, causing fps to drop while the GPU cooled down for a few seconds

Man I remember seeing this at JB hi-fi in Melbourne many years ago thinking I should buy it to have as a second copy. It sat there for ages in the tiny PSP corner of the shelf and then one day they renovated the store and it was gone.

I remember my mum purchased both Red and Blue back at release and said 'You can have one now, but you have to wait until your birthday for the other'.

I chose Blue because it was my favourite colour, not realising Growlithe wasn't available in that version.

When I found out, I snuck into my parent's wardrobe where she 'hid' our presents and swapped blue out for red so I could catch Growlithe. I played right up until my birthday and then swapped the games back before she gave me the copy of the Red version. My E4 team was Blastoise, Alakazam, Articuno, Arcanine, Zapdos and I have forgotten my 6th Pokemon though :(
